This is the UN Peace Memorial Hall, located conveniently between Busan Station and Gwangalli Beach! For Patriotic Veterans Month, I made my way down to Busan to discover more about the pivotal role the United States played during the Korean War. When North Korea invaded South Korea on June 25, 1950, the U.S. quickly stepped in, providing substantial air and naval support, economic aid, and logistical assistance.   Although I’ve visited many museums in Korea, this was the first time I had become emotional inside of one… Watching the raw footage left me overwhelmed with gratitude, witnessing the united effort to support the Republic of Korea during such a challenging time.  I am so grateful to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for giving me the chance to see this museum for myself.
