30 mins of movement will always be better than not moving at all. Save this one because I got your whole body with this one || 30 minutos siempre serán mejor que quedarte sin hacer ejercicio. 

 The workout: we have 9 exercises broken down into three circuits. 40 seconds ON 20 seconds off 60seconds rest in between sets of each circuit. You will perform 2 sets of each.

However, if you want a reps-based version instead:
* Each exercise: 3 sets of 8–12 reps
* Minimal rest between exercises (15–30 sec)
* 60 sec rest between circuit.

This will also fit within 20 minutes if you’re efficient on your transitions.

Cool down for 5 mins foam rolling or with your favorite cool down movements. The shoulder dislocations, wrist circles, and shin boxes are amazing to cool down.

We did it tribe! My very first 15 miller. Being a lifter for over 12 years, I could honestly say that running is a different kind of STRONG. 

This has been one of the most challenging goals I’ve ever set for myself. The next 5 weeks until Berlin Marathon are key. 

The toughest part of it all is letting go of the identity I’ve built all these years with all of you with strength training and shifting into this new era. 

What is interesting is that throughout this experience I have been able to not only handle major life stressors that can drive anyone into deep depression, but I’m also healing parts of me that needed some attention.

I have also found out that I’m stronger mentally than I have ever been. 

No matter what the goal is, movement will always be your best friend; I am married to it.

Este ha sido uno de los objetivos más desafiantes que me he establecido. Las próximas 5 semanas hasta el Maratón de Berlín son clave.

Lo interesante es que a lo largo de esta experiencia he sido capaz no solo de manejar unos tiempos  bien estresantes de mi vida que pueden llevar a cualquiera a una depresión profunda, sino que también estoy curando partes de mí que necesitaban algo de atención.

También he descubierto que soy más fuerte mentalmente que nunca.

No importa cuál sea el objetivo, el movimiento siempre será tu mejor amigo; estoy casada a el.

One of the hardest things in life is choosing to be uncomfortable and adopt a new identity— to lace up your shoes, step outside, and run toward the version of you that doesn’t exist yet.

This sequence is designed to warm up your body into more deep hip opening and complex movement. 

Spend some quality time connecting with your body and connecting your breath paying attention to the areas that feel restrictive. 

There’s no need to force the stretches as the more you do them throughout the week (even daily), the more you will encourage your tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints to cooperate and open up.

Esta secuencia está diseñada comenzando a calentar tu cuerpo para una apertura de cadera más profunda y un movimiento complejo a lo largo del flow.

Pasa un tiempo de calidad conectando con tu cuerpo y conectando tu respiración prestando atención a las áreas que se sienten restrictivas.

No hay necesidad de forzar los estiramientos, ya que cuanto más los hagas a lo largo de la semana (incluso a diario), más alentarás a tus tendones, ligamentos, músculos y articulaciones a cooperar y abrirse.

10 ORACIONES QUE ME DIERON ESCALOFRÍOS Y QUE SIEMPRE ESTÁN EN MI MENTE:

1: Tu sistema nervioso no puede notar la diferencia entre el peligro real y un pensamiento negativo que repites, por lo que cada vez que piensas demasiado, tu cuerpo revive el trauma.

2:Tu sistema nervioso puede anhelar el caos del que te has curado, no confundas la incomodidad con algo que está mal. Eso es solo una paz desconocida

3:No atraes lo que quieres, atraes lo que regulas tu sistema nervioso para creer que eres lo suficientemente seguro como para sostenerlo.

4:No tienes que ganarte el descanso, amor o la paz. Eras digno de esto desde el momento en que naciste, sanar es solo recordar eso.

5:El sanar es solitario porque empiezas a amarte a ti mismo de una manera que haces que otras personas se sientan incómodas. 

6:Si te cuesta la paz, la alegría o tu identidad, es demasiado caro, no importa lo familiar que se sienta.

7:Tu cuerpo escucha todo lo que dice tu mente, así que habla como si quisieras sentirte seguro dentro de ti mismo.

8:El avance personal no ocurre cuando todo es perfecto, sucede cuando eliges levantarte en medio del los problemas.

As I said last week I will be Running a marathon in 10 weeks. Being that I just started running, the last thing I want is to get injured. While these movements may not make a lot of sense to you, I want you to get creative if you’re at home and emulate these to the best of your abilities. If you’re in the gym, save these on a new folder and title it running collection. 

Let’s work on these to be injury free and really strong for running.

You’re going to want to save this recipe as it doesn’t get more simple but it is so yummy || Está receta esta increíble. 

What your sexy self will need: 

6 whole eggs + 1/3 cup egg whites/ 6 huevos enteros + 1/3 taza de claras.
4oz nitrate-free uncured ham (optional)/ 4oz de jamón sin nitratos.
1/2 cup white onion/ 1/2 taza de cebolla blanca.
1.5 cups spinach/ 1.5 taza de espinaca.
1/2 cup red bell pepper / 1/2 taza de pimentón rojo. 
1 cup cherry tomatoes/ 1 taza de tomates cherry.
1 tsp salt + 1 tsp smoked paprika + pepper to taste/ 1cdta de sal, 1 cata paprika ahumada + pimienta al gusto. 
1/4 cup almond milk / 1/4 taza de leche de almendras.
2oz reduced-fat feta/ 2oz de queso feta reducido de grasas.

📝: The smaller you chop the veggies, the tastier every bite.

Macros for the full recipe: you can store  it in fridge up to three days.

– Calories: ~570 kcal
– Protein: ~50g

Pair it with:

🥗 Crispy Salmon Salad Recipe

Base Ingredients:
1.5 cups cooked quinoa 
1 medium sweet potato, cubed
1 cup broccoli florets
2 cups spinach
1 gala apple, chopped
¼ red onion, thinly sliced
½ cucumber, sliced
1 ripe avocado

Dressing:
1-2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1-2 tbsp raw honey
Juice of 1 whole lemon

Instructions:

Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (or oven to 400°F).

Cube the sweet potato adding paprika and cinnamon with some avocado oil spray and sea salt. Air fry until desired crispness.

Season salmon with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Air fry for 10–12 minutes or until crispy and cooked through.

Cook quinoa according to package instructions.

•if you don’t have an air fryer you can use the oven.The quinoa can crisp in a few mins so you can always cook that last as you are assembling your salad.

If you’ve ever struggled to stay consistent with your workouts, the issue isn’t willpower. It’s how your brain is wired to form habits.

Habits are built through a loop: cue, routine, reward. When you repeat a behavior, your brain releases dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that reinforces the action and encourages you to do it again.

4: And don’t skip the reward, celebrate completion, because positive emotion strengthens the neural connection.

This is how real behavior change happens. Not overnight, but through intentional repetition that rewires your brain to crave the thing that once felt hard.

Consistency creates identity. Identity sustains action.
