![When NFL drama becomes a LIFE LESSON for 3rd graders… today we unpacked the Jalen Carter / Dak Prescott spitting situation 👀 First, we saw Jalen spit. Then the ejection. THEN we found out Dak spit first. After the game, Jalen admits he won’t do it again. Dak says he wasn’t spitting at him. Perspective matters. Actions have consequences. And at the end of the day….even NFL stars are just like us. They make mistakes. They don’t always get it right.
But the takeaway? We ALL have to own our choices. We ALL can learn and grow. The conversation my students had was SO healthy, so real, and so valuable. This is why I love teaching through the NFL, because life lessons live right there on the field. The lessons go beyond the gridiron. #nfl #nfelementary #teacher]()

My littles worked SO hard drafting and finalizing their letters to their teams! It took patience, endurance, and a whole lot of focus…. but they DID IT!!! They even learned how to properly address an envelope!! So many skills, so much learning, and to think… this is only the beginning 🤩 The purpose of these letters is for my students to practice their writing skills. And let me tell you… this lesson lined up with our math textbook so perfectly it felt poetic.
