![Sometimes all you really need is a hard reset. As someone who is an avid solo traveler I never really took it upon myself to go to an all inclusive solo until I saw lilmsawkward post about this amazing resort. From the amazing scent in the lobby to the five star service throughout my entire stay, just can actually say that I was pleasantly surprised. Staying at an all inclusive can sometimes be a hit or miss, but nothing about this hotel was actually miss. The food was AMAZINGGG! Atelier is Definitely a great place to reset and recharge. I would say that it felt like a honeymoon/ couple resort, otherwise a great 3 night 4 day stay.]()

![This solo getaway was definitely to recharge. Atelier gives a calm, luxury vibe. Upon arrival you could definitely feel the 5 star service ! After watching lilmsawkward video on this beautiful property I was determined to experience this Resort and I was pleasantly surprised.
Most often times hotels lack in one department , but Atelier didn’t. Even the food was spectacular!! The only thing I’d say is that reservations til up quick so reserve your table to of their many restaurants the moment you check in.

![The palm beach resort is about a 1-1.5 hr deive away from Dakar. I will say that the hotel is perfectly located on the beach, close to several restaurants/Bars/lounges. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful! And a nice escape from city life. The breakfast and lunch was not my favorite, but dinner made up for it! Customer service was enh 😕especially in the dining area, but the front desk guest services were spectacular. If you’re looking for something a bit more budget friendly in Saly, I’d recommend this hotel. Plus it’s close to several cool spots outside on the hotel.

![Did you know that if you take a 1.5 hour flight west of Senegal, you’ll be in the Island of Sal, Cape Verde 🇨🇻. Cape Verde is made of 10 islands, with 9/10 of the islands being inhabited! I was fortunate enough to visit both the island of Sal and Santiago.
While in Sal, I did a day trip to Tarafall which is about a 1.5 hour drive from the capital Praia. Santiago’s country side is absolutely stunning!
On the way to Tarafall we were able to visit Santiago’s largest market! Open primarily on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
