I’ve been lucky enough to visit Savannah every fall for the last few years. It’s truly the most beautiful city to visit this time of year! It’s cooler and all decorated for the season.
We were here to drop my daughter off for her first year at college and stayed an extra day to enjoy the city. I never have a plan when I come here — I am on full wander mode. These were some of my favorite shops I wandered into.

edgarsabovebroad is operated by the same place where you do your thrift store shopping.
I originally went because I was looking for a restaurant with good views, but it turns out that Edgar’s isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a classroom staffed with students from a nearby college also run by Goodwill.
I had no idea Goodwill was churning out such talented chefs and bakers!
The homemade croissant breakfast sandwich is 🙌 and the fried chicken had me pleading with the staff for the secret ingredient.
I wish this Goodwill restaurant was everywhere, but for now you can find it in Augusta (the one pictured here) and Macon Georgia.

![We stopped by cavendercreekvw (near downtown Dahlonega) the other day and had such a lovely time! Great atmosphere, live music, friendly staff and an adorable “guard” dog named Tucker.
There is also a cabin that you can rent on the property. I’ve never stayed here but it looks cute if you’re looking for a unique place to stay in north Georgia.
