End of a chapter! 📚 After 4.5 years, I’m closing my first gym, but don’t worry, MackFit Training Gym will be back! If you haven’t heard yet, we’re leveling up to a bigger spot! Embrace the burn with this legs/booty circuit powered by slatemilk! 💥

▪️Cable Glute Kick Backs: Hook up the cable, kick back with a slightly stiff leg, and keep the opposite leg slightly bent. Pump out 10 reps to fire up those glutes and hamstrings. 

▪️RDLs (Smith): Hold the barbell with a slight knee bend, hinge at hips, and push your butt back. Do 3 sets to activate and strengthen hamstrings and lower back. 

▪️Hack Squats (Smith): Load up the Smith machine, hit those squats with determination, and power through 10 reps. Quads and glutes, here we come! 

▪️Hip Thrusts: Slow and controlled full-range hip thrusts for 10 reps, focusing on the mind-muscle connection. Then, do 10 quick pulses at the top to intensify the burn and work those glutes even more! Let’s go! 

▪️Good Mornings: Barbell on your upper back, hinge at the hips, then back up. Stretch out 10 reps for your lower back and hamstrings. 

Hit 3 rounds of this circuit and let’s chase those gains! 🦾

Here’s a glute burner to have you limping through the rest 🔥

▪️Barbell Back Squats - starting out with the OG. This exercise works your entire body, and creates overall balance in your strength.
3 sets of 10

▪️Kas Hip Thrusts (1/2 Depth) - a popular variation of a glute classic. Shortening the depth can improve your mind to muscle connection to the glutes. Push yourself on the reps. 
3 sets of 15 

▪️Romanian Deadlifts - a staple to strengthen your entire backside, and really grow the glute max. Keep your core braced and shoulders back as you send your hips backwards and forward.
3 sets of 10

▪️Cable Donkey Kickbacks - we can’t get enough of these! This exercise puts a lot of flexion in your hip, to really stretch and fire up the glutes! Brace your core, send your foot straight back.
3 sets of 15

▪️Sumo Leg Press - a great exercise to really push yourself with the weights. The sumo stance works the glutes in a different way. Lots of inner thigh and side glute activation! Try to get DEEP on these.

▪️Goodmornings - work the muscle groups on the backside of your body. With proper form you can really increase your leg and back strength. 3 sets of 15

▪️Prone Hamstring Curls - primarily works your hamstrings, but also hits the glutes. A great exercise to do if you’re quad dominant, and have a hard time isolating your hams. 3 sets of 10

▪️Elevated Trap Bar Squat
Get a good hinge at the hip and these hit the quads, glutes, and hamstrings like crazy. 3 sets of 15

▪️Bulgarian Split Squat
One of the best exercises to hit your legs one at a time. Deep range of motion & slight torso lean for more glute burn. 3 sets of 10.

▪️Banded Reverse Hyper
Perfect for isolating the glutes and a real burn. Keep the load light. You can use body weight, or add weight or a band for a challenge. 3 sets of 20.

▪️RDL
This is a great compound move that’ll really strengthen your glutes & hamstrings. Stay within your range of motion. 3 sets of 12.

▪️Cable Kickback
Keep your core, and glute muscles engaged for the entire range of motion. Kick straight back, not up! 3 sets of 20 each side.

▪️Cable Kickbacks 
We used this exercise to warm up the glutes & get a good pump to start the session. Keep your core engaged & controlled the throughout the motion. 
3 sets of 10-15 

▪️Smith Machine Sumo Squats
This hits the glutes & inner thighs. Keep the load light to medium. Slow controlled reps. 3 sets of 15.

▪️RDLs
This is a classic exercise for the glutes & hams. Helps strengthen your entire posterior chain (backside). 3 sets of 10-15.

▪️Weighted Hip Thrusts 
The pause at the top will have your glutes on fire! Don’t cheat yourself, control the tempo & hold strong at the top. 3 sets of 15 (2 sec pause each rep).

▪️B- Stance RDL
Another glute and hamstring burner. This isolates each leg, which helps with symmetry. Use the ‘off’ foot as a kickstand. 3 sets of 10

▪️Rear Pulldowns 
You’ll feel this one more in your shoulders & upper back. Keep your core engaged.

▪️Face Pulls
These hit the rear delts & are also good for shoulder mobility. You can do them kneeling or standing.

▪️Straight Arm Lat Pull Downs
This hits lats & triceps. Keep your shoulder blades down as you pull the cable down towards your thighs. 
3 sets of 10-15

▪️Single Arm Dumbbell Rows 
These are great for your entire back. Keep your core engaged. 
3 sets of 10-15

▪️Cable Kickback (Bent to Straight Knee)
These are great for glute isolation. Control the eccentric (drawing your knee in) & squeeze the lifting glute without overarching your back. Go for 3 sets of 15 each side.

▪️Straight Leg Cable Kickback
This one is perfect to add on right after cable kickbacks. Hits the glutes & hamstrings. Keep the load light & go for 3 sets of 20.

▪️Cable Squat to Row
This is great for glutes, & less on the quads. Pay close attention to her positioning at the bottom, her shins are almost vertical. Stand up tall squeezing the glutes & pulling the rope in. 3 sets of 15.

Single Leg Press
▪️This hits quads, glutes & hams and gives us a way to work one side at a time. Keep your leg stable as it comes down & dont lock your knee out at the top. Go for 3 sets of 10 each side.

Cable Goblet Squat
▪️These hit glutes & quads, and the cable will keep your body under constant tension. We used boxes to lift her up so she has more range of motion. Load moderately on these and go for 4 sets of 15.

▪️Barbell Curtsy Lunge to Squat
This combo will hit your quads & glutes even without much load. Keep it light & alternate sides for 3 sets of 12 each way.

▪️Dumbbell In-Out Jump Squats
We love these for working explosiveness & cardio, while burning the quads & glutes. Go for 3 sets of 20 (In & out is ONE rep).

▪️Barbell RDLs
A staple hamstring & glute exercise, you don’t need much load to feel these. Keep your back flat & core braced. 4 sets of 12.

▪️Banded Barbell Hip Thrusts
We did these with a pause at the top, this sets the glutes on 🔥. Squeeze your glutes & hold at the top for 2-3 seconds before going back down. The band adds extra tension, but these can be done without it! 4 sets of 15. 2022-04-28 04:30:19 .. 13,594 +144% 90 +74%
