Just tried the annesemoninfrance spa in Paris! I got their 1h15 recovery session with a back & foot massage + a wonderful facial which I really needed because I have not been sleeping the best with the heat! I really loved their ice cubes infused with serum + actives. I didn’t know that was a thing and I’m so happy I got to try it! I got a scalp analysis at kodoheadspa and it was eye opening! I loved that it’s not only super relaxing but they actually are experts in scalp care so I really learned a lot. They also give you some tips on how to wash your hair and take care of your scalp + samples of their recommended products. Fête de la musique in the French presidential palace! Every year France celebrates national music day (fête de la musique) and the whole country try turns into a giant party with concerts popping up everywhere. This year we were invited to celebrate at the French White House (le Palais de l’Elysée) with frenchwithelle, frenchguytheo and iamlivingbobby! The first band was from the Gers region of France, which is near Toulouse (where I’m from)! They played all the traditional songs you hear at village parties in the South of France and then President Emmanuel Macron came to make a speech with First Lady Brigitte Macron. This was such a random and fun crossover!! I went to Maison Élysée ! It’s a free museum located across from Palais de l’Elysée (the French White House). There you can try pastries made by the president’s pastry chefs! This is Polpo, a restaurant on a huge boat by the river! It’s in Levallois-Perret, a Paris suburb that’s 15 minutes away from where I live in Paris! We took a little walk by the river after and it was so nice! I tried a Japanese Head Spa! I’d been so curious since my last trip to Japan. They do a scalp analysis with a little camera (weird but very satisfying), then a custom treatment based on what your scalp needs (mine is very dry!) It’s very ASMRy with water sounds, soft brushes, gentle massage + They really deep clean your scalp, and then finish with a blow-dry! My hair has never been nicer!
