Depending on the tides, you can either view five or six islands on any given day. 5. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple A rare seaside Buddhist temple built directly on ocean cliffs. Definitely come here early in the day for the most peaceful atmosphere. 6. Simmian Cafe This tucked away cafe features a Japanese inspired menu and super zen architecture. For matcha lovers, this one is a must and is just a stone’s throw from the ocean. 7. Dongbaekseom Island A peaceful nature trail near Haeundae lined with camellia trees, lighthouses, and views of Gwangan Bridge—perfect for a golden hour stroll. 8. Arte Museum On a gloomy day, this is a perfect afternoon adventure where immersive light, sound, and art projections transform every room into a surreal sensory experience. 9.
