i still can’t believe we took on HYROX mixed doubles at 6 months pregnant 😅✨ pregnant or not, fitness will ALWAYS be a part of my life. my body is used to training and keeping active is what makes me feel strong, capable, and prepared for birth, for postpartum and for life. it’s what helped me the most during my last pregnancy and I’ll do it all exactly the same if i can!

pregnancy isn’t a reason for me to stop moving, it’s my biggest reason to keep going. fitness has been my lifestyle since I was 20, and it’s given me everything … including my husband 😂🫶🏼

wow, what a whirlwind 5 days! our first trip away together just the two of us since having Junior, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. we went to Rome to celebrate our 10-year anniversary (9th Oct) and decided to throw in a HYROX while we were there 🤣 it was definitely well needed (the break, not hyrox lols).

this year has been non-stop, and we haven’t had a single moment just for us. romanelanceford suprised me when he took me back to the Trevi Fountain where he proposed 9.5 years ago and surprised me with an eternity ring 😭♥️ i still can’t believe it’s been that long since we last stood there together! truly the cutest, most thoughtful thing and i feel so lucky to have our love 🥹🥰 who’s been here since then?!

just realised I haven’t posted since the the 5th of September 😅 life goes by way too fast when you have a baby I swear! so much going on I don’t know what day of the week it is and i forget I’m pregnant most of the time! things that I’m experiencing this pregnancy:

achey hips during the night. if I sleep too long on one side, my hips ache so bad! (I didn’t get this with Junior) - has anyone experienced this before? yanasleep kindly gifted me a pillow, so I think it’s time to start consistently sleeping with it. 

the last 2 nights I’ve had insomnia 😑 waking up and not being able get back to sleep for hours 😫 and he’s moving so much during the night, just like Junior did lol, so keeps me awake 🤭

anterior placenta: literally have just felt him moving properly at 22 weeks (this week) which feels amazing. just so different from feeling Junior flutter and move from 16 weeks. 

everyday I pray that I won’t ever be in my Sherman klump era at the end of pregnancy, ever again! 😂 can everyone say a quiet little prayer for me pls 😆 2025-09-05 19:53:21 .. 18,826 -41% 173 -47%

Romane and I are taking on our very first HYROX together in Rome at the end of September! 🇮🇹 It’s been planned for a while… but plot twist, I’ll be 6 months pregnant by then 😅

The last little while 🫶🏼
Baby is doing great! I’m 19 weeks now 🥰 But I have an anterior placenta this time so I’m not feeling the flutters or movement as much as I did with Junior because it’s acting like a cushion. I’m still feeling really good and as long as I’m training and moving my body I’m happy ✨🏋🏻‍♀️🧠 also a roast every Sunday is a must atm! Week 3 of being consistent with my training! Yassss 💪🏼 i haven’t been this consistent in a while, and the difference I feel mentally and physically is unreal as always! pregnant or not, training is therapy and let’s be real i’m prepping for the most intense workout of my life again! 😆👶🏼

It’s been a bloody good couple of weeks! I’ve been consistent with my training too which feels really good at last, I feel like I’ve finally got into a routine with everything and if you know me, you know I live my life by routine 😅 without it I am lost! 

I’m still feeling really good and so grateful I am still able to train. If there was one thing that helped me during my first pregnancy, that was it! And for as long as my body lets me, I’ll do the same this time 😌 

And Junior, well he’s just amazing as always! 🥹 I still can’t get over how smiley and happy he is all of the time, it’s like he’s not even real 😅🤍 he has started to dance now haha every time music comes on he nods his head or does this bending at the knees thing and he also loves flirting with all of the ladies 🤭 so cAute!! #17weekspregnant 2025-08-03 18:31:52 .. 40,480 +27% 253 -23%

I’ve always believed in sharing both the highs and the lows, especially when it comes to something as personal as IVF.

At the start of March this year, we began our first IVF round for baby number two. But unlike our journey with Junior two years ago, this time the clinic recommended a new protocol and I’ll be honest, the moment they told me it wouldn’t be the same approach as before, my heart sank. Something just didn’t feel right, but when you’re presented with new studies & new science says XY & Z … you follow the advice and trust the process.

After implantation, I tried to stay hopeful, but deep down I just had a gut feeling it hadn’t worked and sadly I was right which was heartbreaking. 

A few weeks later, we were lucky enough to catch my next cycle. This time, we pushed for the same protocol we used with Junior, the one that was more intensive, more medicated, and more aligned with what my body clearly needed. We really needed to trust our instincts and that decision made all the difference. Even my doctor agreed that the natural approach just didn’t suit my body. Sometimes, your body just needs a little more support.

And thank God we stood our ground. The outcome could’ve been very different if we hadn’t. (That’s a whole other story for the positive test that I’ll share soon!).
