![During the Bad Tour, there was a moment I was devastated when I heard that the Kentucky shows had been canceled. It broke my heart because performing in my hometown meant the world to me. MJ saw how sad I was. 💔
But just a few days later, the dates were reinstated. To this day, I don’t know if Michael had something to do with it, but I was deeply grateful. ♥️
That moment gave me the chance to invite my entire family. They came backstage, and we took this picture together — my little niece in Michael’s arms, my sister by my side, and my mother smiling with pride. That night wasn’t just about dancing with the King of Pop, it was about sharing a dream with the people I love most. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

![The anticipation for Michael's first solo tour… the first performance was out of this world. From the moment we landed in Japan, there were advertisements, billboards, magazines — everyone talking about this first show. He did not disappoint. The day after, that’s all the world was talking about.
Just before boarding the plane to Japan, we had wrapped filming the video for “The Way You Make Me Feel.” We were literally packing our bags from set to stage. And when Michael stepped out in Tokyo for his very first solo tour date, the world knew history was being made.
We got an airplane to the show, yes... but before that it was rehearse, rehearse, rehearse in America as well as in Japan. 💥👑

![Someone recently sent me this picture, and just looking at it brought back so many amazing memories! This was a day when Michael and I were at an amusement park, super excited to ride the bumper cars. I was about to get my own car when he looked at me and said, 'Hey, LaVelle, ride with me!' How could I say no, right?
I ended up sitting in the back while he drove. I have to admit, I really wanted to drive and bump into other cars too, but it was so much fun that I’ll never forget it. Michael knew how to make the most of every moment and, of course, how to hit the other cars pretty hard! 😂
Looking back at this makes me smile. Moments like this stay with you forever.
