Leg day with isudheerbabu 

1️⃣ Leg extensions : Good way to pre exhaust the quads. If you notice, we are doing the concentric reps with both legs while doing the negative with one leg. That’s because our muscle are stronger on the eccentric. This way we load it as per the strength curve. We also used extra resistance on the negatives in some sets, you’d notice me pulling on the lever to make the negative tougher. 

2️⃣ Goblet Squats : Then came goblet squats. This is a great way to ensure perfect form. Spine has to stay straight. There is a limit to how much weight you can hold though.  So better to do this later in the workout after pre exhausting the legs. That way even a lighter load works well. 

3️⃣ Safety Bar Squats : This bar is great for anyone with tight shoulders. Tight shoulder muscles won’t allow you to hold the bar due to limited mobility in the shoulder joint. 

4️⃣ Walking lunges superset with Slider leg curls. Slider leg curls are a unique way to hit the hamstrings. And super setting them with walking lunges is a killer.

Sudheer Babu Back Workout -

1️⃣ We started with pullovers. This is probably the best isolation movement for Back. Very few exercises in back training don’t recruit biceps and forearms and this happens to be one. Very good way to pre exhaust the back. Dorian Yates favourite machine for a good reason. 

2️⃣ Neutral grip pulldown was next. Why neutral grip? Neutral grip allows for heavy training without much internal rotation at the shoulder joint. In simple words- better shoulder health in the long run. We had to get this bar made specially, couldn’t find one like it. 

3️⃣ Seated Machine rows : Classic exercise, can’t go wrong. Keeping the chest glued to the pad throughout is important to eliminate the momentum. This way you strictly use the muscles to move the weight. 

4️⃣ Deadlifts : So many pointers here. I’ll share some. Keep arms stretched out. Create Intra abdominal pressure with huge inhale, hold and then lift. Push shoulder blades down towards hips prior to lift. Imagine pushing ground down as opposed to pulling bar up. 2021-01-13 13:58:04 i.. 465 -47% 2 +26%
