- Leg day with isudheerbabu 1️⃣ Leg extensions : Good way to pre exhaust the quads. If you notice, we are doing the concentric reps with both legs while doing the negative with one leg. That’s because our muscle are stronger on the eccentric. This way we load it as per the strength curve. We also used extra resistance on the negatives in some sets, you’d notice me pulling on the lever to make the negative tougher. 2️⃣ Goblet Squats : Then came goblet squats. This is a great way to ensure perfect form. Spine has to stay straight. There is a limit to how much weight you can hold though. So better to do this later in the workout after pre exhausting the legs. That way even a lighter load works well. 3️⃣ Safety Bar Squats : This bar is great for anyone with tight shoulders. Tight shoulder muscles won’t allow you to hold the bar due to limited mobility in the shoulder joint. 4️⃣ Walking lunges superset with Slider leg curls. Slider leg curls are a unique way to hit the hamstrings. And super setting them with walking lunges is a killer. ➡️ There is more that went into this workout, mobility stuff to improve hip joint health. More on this in later videos.
