Travelling with your grandma is underrated because it turns out she has a lot more energy than me and want to walk everywhere. Since when is a 40 min walk “short”. Anyway Ive already been to two countries in the same day only for layover but i’ve never done it intentionally and this time I went all the way to Palermo to pick her up so we can go to Madrid The main reason I did this, is because she still thinks we check in at the counter, and everyone knows Ryanair lol. If she asks them how to checkin online, they could literally charge her so it was just more convenient that I do everything my self🙋🏻‍♀️ Anyway It was really nice to visit Palermo and go to Madrid since it’s one of my favorite cities ever. Before taking my two weeks off and I went to buy some madeleines. It should’ve taken me twenty minutes but since the store had so many nice things to look at it took me A LOT longer. It looks 10 times better in real life and felt really peaceful especially with the wind up there. I could’ve stayed there all day. Fun fact the little building on this hill in this specific point of view was used to check if any enemies were on the way to attack. The fact that people used this for war and now we’re hiking to look at the view and take pictures fascinated me for a reason. The photos are not even doing it justice it’s so pretty! I wish I could show you the hotel I was talking about but the rooms are basically on the hill with the most gorgeous view ever. Best looking lifeguard if you ask me. Also save the video for when you go to Nice yourself too! 😌💖 The Sunday market was so cute but I didn’t end up buying anything, one of the reasons why is that I was sweating from the heat I couldn’t focus lol I then went back home to take my dog (it was too hot for him to walk through the market), he fell in love with the board because he could have a full view of everyone and make sure no one was drowning. For him, drowning means going under the water for a split second 🥲 I need to find him floaters for next time ! Day 1 of my trip to the french rivera. I took a train to this beach which is 5 mins away from Nice and has sand as well as a beautiful view. I was working overtime trying to tan and I got teeny tiny tan line… but we all start somewhere :). I also but this beach towel because I had none and it’s so cute! I forgot how much I love purple. Then I had brunch with two girls that I met in the hostel and that were so nice! When I tell you the struggle was reeeeaaal at the end of the video. I had to go to different restaurants and ask them if I could buy something and use the bathroom and most of then were so nice and let me use it for free except for one that actually made me pay more for my drink 😡 anyways it was overall so cool to see, there were all different kinds of music. ✍🏻Don’t google foods you don’t know after eating them. Tbh everything was really good and the fact that you can see everything being made from scratch is so cool. Especially because they used only fresh ingredients, I don’t think they have space for anything frozen anyway. And one thing I hear people ask sometimes when they see their food being cooked is why no one is wearing gloves? If you wash your hands frequently then it’s a lot cleaner than gloves since when you’re wearing gloves you could forget to wash them after touching things. I actually hate it when I see gloves because I’m sure people don’t wash them or change them every time they touch things.
