I went to cover life inside the World's largest open-air laundry - Dhobi Ghat. And I met so many people there and it breaks my heart to say this but a family of 5-6 are living in the same 7x7 room paying rent of 9000 and have a life of non stop labour and pain. 💔 There's no proper washrooms and people are paying money to use it. Contaminated water flows directly into nearby areas with no treatment. These hands wash millions of clothes from hospitals, hotels, and offices across Mumbai, but the people behind this work remain invisible.
