I love that Vuori represents a balance of working hard to fuel the way you live your life. For me, training has always been about supporting your body and mind to get the most out of the other 23 hours in the day.  With Vuori’s expertise in fit and feel from an apparel lens and mine from the energy side - I’m so excited for what we’re building together to enhance the way people feel. We share the belief that feeling good is the gold standard of wellness. 

I’ll be advising on Vuori’s brand evolution in fitness and performance, consulting on innovation and development of their fitness apparel and bringing my signature energy to the amazing brand they’ve already built.

For as long as I can remember, I told everyone since I was a child that I was going to work for Nike. In my early 20s when Nike reached out to work with me I couldn’t believe it. I was teaching HIIT classes in the gym as my side hustle and never dreamed it would get me recognized by Nike, all the way down in NZ. The early days in NZ and Australia are still some of my favourite and the fierce community lydiaodo and I built. We had no budget but damn we had heart. 
In 2015 I became one of the faces of Nike Women and Nike Training and filmed my first Nike Training Club workout for the app whilst traveling around the world on the NTC tour. This was the start of the next decade of my life that was a worldwide whirlwind. Full of shoots, workouts, events, energy, joy and growth. From Paris to Seoul to Istanbul, Mexico, Sweden and so much more, I took my love and passion for movement everywhere I went. Most importantly, I got to connect with millions of people via the thing I love the most - movement. I made best friends and peers that will forever be part of my life. 
Nothing gives me more joy than making people feel good about themselves whilst challenging them to show up and do their best. 13 years in, I had achieved everything I had dreamed of at Nike working my way to the top of our global training team and I had to be honest and ask if I had gotten comfortable? Was I pushing myself the way I pushed others, encouraging them to go after everything they wanted?
As a highly motivated person who finds confidence in the continuous pursuit of growth and challenge, I’ve decided to leave Nike to go into the next chapter in my career. This was not an easy decision but the Pyro within me knew that it was time to take a new, bold step.
I’m so grateful for the memories, friendships, lessons, self development and community I’ve met along the way. In an industry that often makes you feel like you need to be less, just know I’m here telling you that you can be everything you want and more. So here’s to believing in yourself, going after it, chasing your dreams and setting your soul (and glutes) on fire. After 13 years, it feels surreal to say JUST DID IT! 🔥 Sometimes I feel like amongst the “ease” of technology we have lost the art of really wanting something. You have to want it. You can’t just moodboard it, talk about it, manifest it. You have to want it in all fibers of your being. That’s the thing that will help you stay committed, accountable, and will force you to grow, especially when things don’t go to plan. 

🔥 How willing are you to make change?

🔥 If you think your body isn’t listening to all your thoughts, you’re wrong. 

🔥 What’s 1 actionable step you can take today towards the direction of your goal(s)?

🔥 Use information as information not as a personal attack on yourself. It will become a prison cell for your progress otherwise.

🔥 Set your routines up with micro doses of all your healthy habits sprinkled across the day to keep you on track. Then habits become fun and easy and little guides in your life that help you reach your goals. 

🔥 Micro compromises —> macro results.

🔥 How many times will you circle back to the same old feeling? When is enough finally enough? Don’t second yes yourself when it was a no the first time.

Full Body thang for you!

Warmup: 10min treadmill walk, foam roll, mobility, glute/core activation 

Full Body Circuit - 4 sets with 90seconds rest between each set. Try and use a challenging weight kettlebell for this circuit. 

Technique tip: in the gorilla row - push down into the kettlebell that stays on the floor! While one arm is pulling, the other should be pushing which helps maintain stability.

Quick cardio workout to throw in as a finisher or a micro burn on its own! Your cardio portion of your weekly workout schedule doesn’t need to be long, it’s more important to hit the right intensity. Most women aren’t getting enough intensity in their week which has so many important health benefits as well as metabolic payoffs. If you love strength training and pilates, this is a great easy way for you to get some HIIT intervals in and can be tagged on to the end of your other workouts - no equipment needed ⚡️

Try this leg and glutes workout that will have you feeling the 🔥

10min walk, foam roll and activation to start then hit the below exercises for 4 sets each with 90sec rest between each set before switching to the next exercise. Challenge yourself with a heavy kettlebell but where you can still keep good form:

1. Kettlebell Deadlift
2. Bench Elevated Sumo Squat
3. Plate Elevated Curtsey Lunges
4. Straight Leg Lift/Donkey Kick Burnout (1-2 sets only)

RAN THE NIGHT AWAY WITH 18K WOMEN 😍

The nikerunning After Dark Tour in LA was energy personified. 18K women running the streets after dark as a force, a unit, a collective inspiration. 

This race was such a mixed bag of emotions for me. The raw energy and power of so many women running together with grit, determination, joy and community was overwhelming. 

The feeling I kept coming back to during the 13.1 was “this is romantic” (yes even on all the surprise hills). It’s a  radical act of self love to show up for yourself in things that challenge you. To keep going when you want to stop. To smile at others and have them smile back mid struggle. I had immense pride and joy for every woman out there shining bright in the dark. 

Starting at the front with my day 1 baddie lydiaodo who started my running journey at our Nike run clubs in New Zealand 14 years ago and being cheered in by Coach becwilcock at the end was extra special. These women have encouraged me through so many runs over the years.🫶🏼

Typically I joke saying I’m not a runner but guess I got busted having fun on the run and already thinking about doing this again but don’t tell the nikerunning team 🤫😂

An exercise I’m obsessed with right now for back and core🔥

Start with your arms in front of you with the cable on a diagonal line. Pull the bar towards your chest with an exhale, driving your elbows back and squeezing your shoulder blades together. Release the bar back to starting position with control. This entire exercise should be done slowly and not too light. You’ll feel upper and lower ab engagement as well as some postural work in your back. 

In this seated pull down I’m using a c-curve position in my lower back to target deep core work and squeezing my heels together to recruit more inner thigh activation which is really helpful if you’re hip flexor dominant. 

Try adding 3 rounds of 10-12 reps into your next workout circuit. ❤️‍🔥
