We don’t always need a brand new meal plan to eat better… sometimes it’s just about making what we already love a little heartier.

Here are some of my favorite ways to sneak in more protein , epecially for the boys ⬇️

✨ Cook rice or pasta in bone broth
✨ Blend cottage cheese into sauces
✨ Swap regular pasta for protein or chickpea pasta
✨ Mixing leaner meats into fattier flavorful meat

You’ll feel more satisfied, stay full longer, and you'll get to eat foods without feeling like you’re on a “diet.” 💪

👉 Which of these hacks are you trying first? Comment below so I know what to share more of! 2025-09-19 21:53:45 .. 4 -89% 3 -3%
Yesterday, I took a poll of whether it was the consistency or the motivation that was the hardest for people. Seems like CONSISTENCY wins the highlight of todays post!

Consistency isn't about being perfect or doing everything. Its about picking the 1 or 2 things you know you can continuously do. Its about the honesty you have with yourself about what you can and can't do.

If you've been struggling with consistency lately,
Here are a few tips to help get you back in the groove!

🤏 Shrink your goals
10 mins of walking versus a full 60 min workout

🧖‍♀️ Tie fitness to an existing habit
10 squats while you shower or brush your teeth

🫸Remove barriers
Put your gym close out the night before. Better yet. Sleep in your gym fit! Hardest part is getting up. Make it easy to get out the door.

Life lately ❤️

Motherhood is a constant dance between what has to get done and what your heart wants to do.

The days feel long, but the weeks fly by in a blur of snacks, laundry, and little moments that matter most.

Being there for them — even on the hardest days — is what being a mom is all about.

But remember, making time to be there for YOU a few times a week isn’t selfish… it’s essential. 2025-08-11 16:05:16 Life lately.. 20 -43% 2 -35%
From attempting my first couple pull-ups 6 weeks postpartum… to repping out weighted pull-ups 11 months post-partum.

This wasn’t just about strength — it was about consistency, patience, and showing up for myself even when it got hard.

Progress doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen when you stay committed.

Celebrate the small wins. Trust the process.

You’re capable of more than you think. 💪✨

Zercher squats have been one of my favorite and most humbling 😅 exercises week after week.

They’re challenging, functional, and insanely effective. Here’s why I keep them in rotation:

👉 Posture support – Holding the weight in front forces you to stay upright.

Think baby-wearing, nursing, picking up toys 50 times a day…

👉 Core strength – Your abs have to engage. There’s no faking it here.

👉 Upper back & arms – Your whole upper body gets involved, especially holding that bar steady.

👉 Legs & glutes – Yes, you’ll feel it in your quads and glutes—big time.

👉 Real-life strength – It mimics how we lift in real life. Not always pretty, but always useful.

It’s easy to show up when you’re fired up—when the motivation is high, the playlist is bumpin’, and everything feels aligned.

But what about the days when you're tired? When time is tight, your body feels heavy, and the excuses start to sound a little too reasonable?

Those are the days that count the most.

Because DISCIPLINE steps in where motivation falls short.

That quiet decision to still show up, even when it’s hard—that’s where real progress is made.

It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being consistent.

One hard day at a time.

Not everyday looks like this. But i definitely do my best to try and get in as much protein as possible!
My days start early . Some days 3a 😅 so i tend to have lots of meals/snacks. I like to snack so i make sure my snacks have protein in them or my main meals have lots of protein in it.

Heres the breakdown of my meals/snacks
1. Preworkout snack. Purely carbs to fuel my workout with my cup of coffee
2. Post workout meal. Those protein bagels have been my new fav !
3. Post breakfast snack? Lol Was craving a wrap, so we made one with a protein wrap i found at Aldis!
4. Snack. Bc well. I was snacky and a protein bar worked!
5. Lunch. Made stealth_health_life
Broccoli cheddar chicken mac for prep & it worked out great as i was having a busy day and this meal saved me from eating nonsense 😅
6 & 7. Snack... like i said. I get snacky
8. Dinner. Papa bear made a roasted sausage & veggies for dinner so i made sure to get a nice good portion of protein for that too!

*i do tend to keep my fats lower throughout the day as i know my dinner meals tend to be more fatty. Theres a lot that goes into nutrition, but this post is strictly for the purpose of getting in the protein! If youd like to know more about nutrition or coaching. Feel free to DM me!

This weeks recap. NON-NEGOTIABLES.
3 days of training. 3 major lifts.

Non-negotiables are your foundation.
They’re the small, consistent actions you commit to—no matter what.
Whether it’s 10 minutes of movement, hitting your protein goal, or walking after dinner…
These habits add up.
They build momentum.
They create discipline.
And over time?
They become your lifestyle.

Start small. Stay consistent. Set your non-negotiables—and build from there.

Some days you're on fire. Other days, just showing up feels like a win. Either way—keep showing up.

Being a mom doesn’t mean putting your goals on hold — it means leading by example.
The boys watch me lift, sweat, show up even when I don’t feel like it. Whether its at the gym, taking a walk, pushups around their toys. They don’t see exercise as a punishment or something to dread — they see it as a normal part of life.

And that’s exactly what I want.
Movement is medicine.
Health is a habit.
And strength is something we build — inside and out.

If you're a parent, just know: you don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be consistent. Every workout you squeeze in, every walk you take, every healthy choice — it matters. Not just for you, but for the little eyes watching. 👶🏽👧🏼

💪 Show them what’s possible.
🏃‍♀️ Make fitness a family thing.
💖 Be the role model they didn’t know they needed.

Happy to have hopped under a bar again. Been very proud of myself the past few weeks for consistently making it into the gym. 5 weeks in & I'm already seeing strength & muscle gains start to come back. Just proves that 1 muscle memory is a thing & 2 consistency matters!

You don’t need a perfect plan.
You don’t need motivation every day.
You just need consistency.

Showing up—even on the days you don’t feel 100%—is what separates results from regrets.

Stop chasing perfection.

CREATINE.

The one supplement you should probably invest in.

You’ve probably heard of creatine as something “gym bros” take to get jacked.
But here’s the truth: Creatine is one of the most well-researched and safe supplements out there — and it’s beneficial for everyone. Moms included. Even during pregnancy!

Benefits of Creatine:

💪Boosts strength & performance

💪Helps preserve muscle as we age

💪Improves recovery after workouts

🧠Supports brain health & cognitive function

💤May reduce fatigue, especially in women

🤱Can even help during postpartum recovery

*breastfeeding & postpartum recovery require a lot of energy from the body. Creatine is an essential part of creating energy. So essentially, the more creatine you've got, the better your body is at recovering and restoring energy levels!

Creatine = not just for gains… but for longevity.

The hardest part of motherhood is putting yourself first. However, I'm learning a couple exercises here and there whether it's with Levi in my arms or lying on tummy time, it's been making a big difference in how I feel throughout the day.

It's true, the days are long. But a set of squats here and a set of pushups there and maybe even a plank while Lucien uses me as a chair, has made the days just that more manageable.
