Highly recommend signing up for a 5K whether you choose to walk, jog, combo, etc.
✨DON’T recommend choosing one that requires you to be on Governor’s Island bright and early on a Saturday.

What are you wearing? Any recommendations?

Clearly have some favorites that fit my body in the way that makes me comfortable. I’m always looking for leggings that don’t roll down so I lean towards Under Armour mostly. Most of my tops were actually a gift but I’m not picky on a top as long as it’s racerback. I’m always searching for size inclusive activewear.

I can’t be the only one who avoided gym class!

- Find forms of movement that you enjoy
- No one is forcing you to workout for an hour 👀

A body strong enough to take me where I want to go. A brain that remembers I am capable, even when anxiety tries to override it. 
~ The majority of this trip was spent lying on the beach 🥰, but that small percentage where we went up and down stairs and inclines was when I was glad to have devoted the past 6 weeks to endurance training and single leg work. I am someone who spends alot of energy worrying about how hard something is before I actually even TRY to complete the task. So, my main goal this past 6 weeks has been to be comfortable feeling my legs burning, breathing harder, etc. When it was time to tackle a few steep streets in Lisbon, I felt prepared to do them at the whatever pace felt appropriate, allow my glutes and calves to burn, breathe heavy when needed, and enjoy the view.
