I know hustle culture is alive and well on the internet but I also see a new trend of people being BURNT the fuck out. I worked 2 jobs at times and once I started working for myself (which in the beginning and for many years was like working 3 jobs)instead of working the way I wanted, I continued to work in a construct that wasn’t ideal for me. 10-6 Tuesday-Saturday for years stuck on the hamster wheel with no time to even consider what Kasey wanted. Flash forward to 2025 she works when she wants, she rests when she wants and most importantly she does things that bring her joy. Once I got off the hamper wheel (thanks 2020) I was simultaneously free and felt terrified. There have been about 10000 iterations of how I’ve shown up and there will continue to be.
