Thank you so much to everyone for the texts, calls, DMs and posts wishing me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🥳 I truly felt so loved and seen by so many people yesterday 🫶🏼 In my now 34 years, I have lived and experienced A LOT of life. More than I wish to have experienced at times and more than most people probably will ever experience. Although hard at times, I’m thankful for each season, for each lesson it has brought, but most importantly I’m thankful for a loving God who forgives me despite my sinful past 💕 My prayer and my hope in whatever time I have left here on this earth, however short or however long, is to point people to Jesus! To show and offer the love to people of a gracious, forgiving, just God. To live this life out as a Christ follower not just a Christian. To run after Jesus daily, not just in the hard times. To be willing to lay down my life for a God who so freely sent His Son to lay down His life for me. Father, thank you for another year of life. Thank you for the breath in my lungs. Im just gonna say it out loud. It’not enough to say it only in texting conversation or one on one Thats what got us here in the first place. THE CHURCH, the American church is soft. We have coddled people for their feelings and emotions for FAR TOO LONG! We don’t preach the living breathing Word of God, we don’t preach Jesus is coming back soon, we preach a feel good message and it’s made us insensitive. This is the churches fault. All of us. We’re all responsible for not standing on and SPEAKING the truth out of “fear” you can LOVE someone and also speak truth. In fact the Bible calls us to do just that. The church has to rise up NOW or we might as well just shut it down. TIME IS RUNNING OUT. Get in the word. Share the word. Speak the word. Live the word. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. PROUD MOM POST💙🏈 Harley had his first game last night with his new middle school team. He was starting DB until the quarterback got hurt in the second quarter of the game and they put Harley in. Harley. My boy. Never played quarterback in his life and only practiced a few times. He threw TWO touchdown passes! He ran the ball great. He performed under pressure. && I AM ONE PROUD MOMMA We took home the first WIN of the seasn 18-6 👏🏼 Last night after the game, I was talking to t.lance_bass and just expressing how proud I am of Harley and how happy I am. I swear I blinked… and the chubby-cheeked toddlers who needed me for everything turned into teens who mostly just need rides and Wi-Fi passwords 🥹 It’s hitting me hard lately—these days are numbered.
