Skipping travel insurance is cute until your bag gets lost, your flight is canceled, or you need a doctor abroad. I don’t risk it. -Staying inside a resort the whole trip is the dream. Resorts are for resting after I’ve explored the city, met locals, and tried the street food. -It doesn’t matter where we stay. It does. A bad location or vibe can ruin your trip. I don’t compromise on the stay. -Using currency exchanges instead of ATMs. If you’re still exchanging cash at the airport… please, it’s 2025. I use my low-fee cards and withdraw smart. -Vacation rentals with checkout chores. I’m not paying hundreds just to vacuum and start the laundry.
