And if you're losing weight in a way you can't sustain- you're just going to lose the weight and gain it right back after.  Of course you'll lose weight if you cut out sugar but are you going to do that for the rest of your life? Sounds miserable. No thanks ☺️

This is why you're not making progress...

It’s the “f*ck it” and “I’ll start over again on Monday” mentality. 😔 

It's the fact that you don't know how to go out to dinner, travel, navigate holidays, and essentially live your life while still being able to lose weight and look and feel lean.  You're waiting for the perfect time when it's never going to come.

It looks ridiculous when I pour out my entire jug of coffee just because I spilled a little bit. 🫗

and what you do NOW determines how you're going to look and feel in a few months. 💃🏻 So you need to start NOW with how you want to feel in the new year.

Of course it's going to be uncomfortable to invest in yourself, change your habits, and focus on your nutrition in a different way...

But I promise you... it's 100x more uncomfortable to hate your body through the holidays.

If weight loss was as easy as just following a plan- don't you think you'd be at your goal by now? 🤔

After I lost most of my baby weight, I still felt uncomfortable and fluffy. And it felt like no matter what I did, I couldn’t lose the weight. But the last 10-15lbs were going to look different than losing the first 40lbs of baby weight. 

Here’s what I focused on to transform my body from skinny fat to looking lean and toned. 👇🏻

Nutrition 👉🏻Just eating healthy helped me lose a good amount of weight but it wasn’t going to help me build the body I wanted.  I shifted my focus on whole Foods, high protein and balanced macros to keep me full, satisfied, and energized.  I found some staple meals I loved like these and keep them in my rotation.  It's easy and these meals make me feel good.

Progressive Overload and structured workouts. 👉🏻 I stopped going to different classes every day or just winging it in the gym.  Lifting also helps boost your metabolism and allows me to burn more calories throughout the day. 

Daily non-negotionables 👉🏻 I set non-negotionables for myself every day. My main focus was on my water intake and steps.  I made sure to have at least 2 liters of water/day and gave myself a step target of 10k-12k steps a day. 

Celebrating the small wins 👉🏻It’s crucial to celebrate the progress and small wins along the way.  Motivation is fleeting and if you’re waiting until you reach your end goal to feel excited or proud, it’s going to be really hard to continue showing up.  I started to fall in love with the process and the little habits I was doing every day that made me feel good.  Those little things create the big changes over time.

Start today.  Imagine how good you'll feel when you're walking into 2026 feeling leaner, hotter and better than ever when most of the world is starting on Jan 1st.

Here's some of the things I’ve done to lose 15lbs of fat and transform my body and life in a few months. 💪🏻

👉🏻EAT MORE PROTEIN. You should be eating at least .8g for your body weight in protein. This will help you stay full and satisfied throughout the day. 

👉🏻 LIFT WEIGHTS- I promise you won't get bulky from lifting.  Strength Training has SO many benefits and one of them is help you lose fat and build muscle to create a lean, strong look. It also helps boost your metabolism 👏🏻

👉🏻Increase your average daily steps by 2k.  If you're current average is 5,000steps/day, try to add a little more every day. Go take that walk after dinner, park your car further at the store, or just get up and walk around at the office. That adds up to 14,000 more steps/week which can make a huge different for fat loss. 

👉🏻 SLEEP.  Aim to get at least 7 hours if you can! 

👉🏻Track your food.  Not forever but so you can know what you're consuming if you're trying to lose fat.

If I wanted to lose 15lbs of fat by the end of the year without doing anything extreme, this is exactly what I would do 👇🏻

1. Track your calorie intake-  You don’t need to do anything extreme!  Start by tracking a normal week of eating and then put yourself in a calorie deficit.  Try to take your average daily calories and subtract 300 to start!  Start there for a few weeks and see how your body responds.

2. Steps-  You don’t necessarily need to walk 10k steps.  Just like your calories, find you average daily steps and try to increase that by even 1500 a day.  Even that small shift will add an extra 45k steps to your month!  It adds up!

3.  Try to hit your protein goal daily-  Aim for .8-1g of protein per lb of body weight. ( I have tons of high protein recipes on my feed if you need meal ideas!)

4. Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep.  Your rest and recovery is just as important as everything else.  Being well rested will help keep your cravings and hunger under control. 

5.  Get yourself the accountability and support you need.  Don’t try to do this alone.  Because the truth is… you would've already done it by now if you could.  Having support and accountability to help you towards your fat loss goals will help you get there 10x faster.  This is the part that so many people underestimate and why so many people stay uncomfortable and in a body they don’t feel good in.  It’s why so many people continue to yo-yo diet forever without really understanding fat loss and having the support needed.  Statistically- you are 75% more likely to follow through with your goals when you have accountability. 

This is exactly what I did to lose 15lbs and get in the best shape of my life after 2 kids.  Nothing extreme.  No 💉or pretend magic 💊. Just simple and basic tips to follow.

There’s a reason all the information on how to lose weight is online yet most people are still struggling with doing it. 

At this point you probably know what to do.  You’ve probably read and seen an overwhelming amount of videos to show you exactly what to do.

-10ksteps daily
-strength training
-1g of protein/lb of body weight
-7-8 hours of sleep
-small calorie deficit

BOOM… You should have your dream body by now right? 

You should but you probably don’t.  Because implementing and creating new habits is the hard part.  That’s the part that most people struggle with. 

Did I do all of those things to lose 15lb and get in the best shape of my life after 2 kids?  YES. But even as a fat loss coach, I still need support and accountability to help me get to my goals 10x faster than doing it on my own. 

My clients lose anywhere from 5-25lb in my program depending on their goals.  And I don’t just create them a plan that works into their lifestyle. I teach them how to think, eat, behave, and live in their dream body. 

Because anyone can lose the weight.  But the real beauty is to when you’re able to maintain it while you’re out living your life.

There’s nothing worse than walking into your closet frusterated and needing to try on 20 outfits because nothing looks or feels good. 

Or when you spend all week being “so good” with your diet only to binge eat all weekend and feel disgusting by Sunday.  So you force yourself to start over again on Monday. 😵‍💫

You deserve to invest in yourself the same way you invest in everything else in your life.  You deserve to put the time and energy into yourself and the way you want to look and feel the same way you do for others. 💝

You don't have to cut things out of your life to lose weight. 

You need to find a way to lose weight while eating what you enjoy and living your life.  If you restrict yourself for a certain amount of time- you'll probably just gain the weight right back.

There was a time where I used to have coffee for breakfast, skipped meals, did excessive cardio, feared lifting weights, and tried every fad diet out there. 🤪

My metabolism was messed up and nothing was working.  I thought eating 1200 calories was going to work. I thought cutting out carbs and sugar and foods I loved would work.  Nothing worked because it only backfired.

But as I've gone through my own transformation of losing 50lbs, really learned about nutrition and what our bodies need to not just survive but THRIVE...I've leaned into this new approach to food and I feel the best I've ever felt.

Eating more food, not restricting myself from all the things I love 🍕🍪🍷🌮, lifting heavy, and really feeling good in my body and mind. 

I promise, fat loss isn't complicated and it doesn't require you to be on a crazy diet that makes you miserable.  You just need to the right strategy and support that allows you to have your cake (your dream body) and eat it too. 🍰🤤

You don't want to feel starving and miserable because that's just not going to be sustainable.  So adding these foods to your day will help you bulk up your meals and allow you to eat within your calories.
