LEARNING TO ACCEPT HELP has been its own kind of project, color loves. While I’m usually the one rolling up my sleeves on roombloomdesign projects, juggling life now solo means I don’t actually have the time to be the one renovating everything myself 🙃 Especially if I want to make any joy-way on the home front 🌴 thus I’m choosing collaboration with those who respect the history of Midcentury modern design as much as I do. GATES AND SLIDERS 🐾 Color loves, here’s the next transformation in Cash’s Yard = tackling the entrances and exits, and let me tell you, it’s made an immense difference! My goal with this phase of the renovation was to create a safe haven for Cash to explore, while also keeping the sunroom a bit less . . . sandy. Thus, installed sturdy YELLOW gates around the breeze block fence (matching the yellow mailbox was a polychromatic must for me 🎨) AND swapped out those flimsy sunroom screens for sleek sliders. Now, Cash and I have easy access to the yard while keeping everything secure and clean. Honestly, these two additions have completely transformed the space!
