IMP-X Chapter Vll Battle of Bands was held at ext.hyd on the 9th of February, 2025.
Every band came with fire in their veins, chasing the ₹50,000 prize, but also something far bigger: the chance to etch their name into indie history.
By the end of the night, it was backroomsblr who stood tall, their sound echoing like victory itself, while _the_swans soared high as runners-up, leaving the stage with pride and applause that refused to fade.

It was a celebration of ikea.india ’s 7 years in Hyderabad and IMP’s 4 years of building a home for indie music.
When we started IMP, all we had was a vision: to give independent artists a real stage, real opportunities, and a real community.
Today,
over 1000+ artists have joined the IMP app,
400+ have found opportunities through us,
and 26,000 people have shown up to cheer them on.
At the event, stories were told, passions were shared, and connections were made that we know will last far beyond the music.
None of this would be possible without you, the artists, the fans, the believers.
