boilandbakecm in Costa Mesa is serving up some of the best New York-style bagels in Southern California with a Cali twist. The standout for me is The Dodger, loaded with cream cheese, perfectly cured smoked salmon, pickled onion, capers, dill, lemon, and a drizzle of olive oil. Mom-approved comfort food on the Westside. 🖤 Took my mom to elabajeno, a family-run Mexican restaurant serving authentic flavors since 1969. She had been craving Caldo de Res ( beef stew) yes, even on a hot summer day and what mom wants, mom gets. I went for a Carnitas Torta and it was a solid choice, not amazing. You said it was worth the drive… so I drove over an hour to Laguna Beach to check out letstaco_ 🌮🔥 This location is built inside the 7th ever Taco Bell, which the city actually deemed historic. Now it’s home to some seriously solid tacos just steps from the beach. 🌊🌮 Tacos are $4, burritos are $10 and big, and the salsa bar is stacked.
