![Finally my Warhammer modelling experience is having some real world application!
I spent a day at the Longines workshop in St. Imier, Switzerland and what a day it was! Such incredibly passionate and talented people working there, building absolutely stunning time pieces.
Thank you to everyone there for letting me visit your place of work, hopefully I wasn't too in the way!

![Cook day!
Today we have two 35-day-aged Galician Rib Eyes. Galician beef is, in my opinion, the best in the world! Incredibly deep, beefy flavour. But I digress, we also have an olive fed wagyu tenderloin which has a really interesting flavour profile. All steaks were dry brined overnight and left to properly come up to room temperature (takes a while but allows the fat to render easily with the way I cook hot and fast)
To go with the steaks - linguine with a garlic confit butter sauce! Which is a recipe I found online. It sounds fancy but it's just roast garlic blended with butter, rolled into a snazzy little sausage, cooled in the fridge, and then whisked in a pan with pasta water!

![Why, hello there....I'm officially starting my foray into the rather fabulous world of watches. I've dabbled in the past, but never quite found something that felt like the perfect fit or suitably timely....until now, of course. Understated elegance, a storied history in aviation (and indeed the history of modern Europe), plus strong connections with winter and equestrian sports - these are just some of the trademarks of Longines, one of the oldest watchmaking brands in the world. ![To celebrate some Warhammer news, I decided to make a pilgrimage to the very first place I bought Warhammer models over 30 years ago....the Little Shop, on my home island of Jersey!
My incredible team and I, alongside the brilliant minds at Games Workshop, have been working away in concept rooms, breaking down approaches to the enormity and magnificence of the Warhammer world. Together, we've been sifting through the plethora of incredible characters and poring over old tomes and texts. Our combined efforts have led us to a fantastic place to start our Universe, which has been agreed upon by those up on high at both Amazon and Games Workshop. That starting place shall, for now, remain a secret. Watch this space, though—more to come in time!

Seriously, though, they've done pretty well eh? I couldn't complete the campaign on Angel of Death by myself (or at least didn't have patience to complete by myself!) which I love!
Loving the PvP and am really looking forward to it growing and expanding - It has real potential to be absolutely awesome! Disclaimer: I know nothing about game development so the kind of dreams I have may be rather difficult to implement!

![The time is upon us. Finally us Brits can watch the movie about us Brits! The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare will be released for your home viewing pleasure in the UK on Amazon Prime tomorrow!
This one is one of my favourites in my stable of movies. It's another Guy Ritchie spectacular, and we all had an absolute blast shooting it. So tomorrow night, pop a pizza in the oven, or order a curry and settle in for a bloody good time!

![Today marks one year since Meat (our french bulldog) decided to shuffle off this mortal plane and continue on his journey. I have to say, I hadn't previously felt pain quite like the pain I felt when Meat died. I'd only know him for three years, but in those three years he and I made such incredible progress together, and he completely changed my outlook on French Bulldogs. He was deaf, so I learned how to use body language to communicate properly with him. He couldn't stand other dogs, but we got to a place of tolerance with Kal (my Akita). He survived a very complicated cancer removal surgery. He travelled to far flung lands without complaint. He would come looking for me at night if I stayed up playing computer games too late. He would be ferociously protective over Natalie, but learned to trust Kal and me for guidance. He fell ill and recovered a number of times. He enjoyed many a backpack ride once he got too tired to make any decent length walks. At the end he fell ill with a pneumonia. I'll never forget the expression on his face, desperately asking me for help on the way to the vet in Turkey because he couldn't breath. Once there, however, he held strong and recovered to such a point that we felt hope, but it turns out he was just waiting for us to bring him home. He passed away peacefully in England. Thinking of him always brings great sadness, but also great joy. We'll miss him as long as we live, but wouldn't live nearly as richly had we never have known him. Journey well Meatboi.]()
