- I never thought I’d be saying but… Okay so not my usual content but here’s a little bit about what’s been going on the last few months 😅⬇️ After 9 years together, my husband and I packed up our lives and moved to France. Two months in, we decided to get divorced. Just like that — he left, and I stayed. I was scared. Alone in a foreign country. No plan B. But something inside me said: *don’t go back, you’re right where you’re supposed to be* And you know what? These last few months of being ‘alone’ in a new country have been some of the happiest of my life. I’ve made incredible friends, fallen head-over-heels in love with France, and experienced more peace than I ever had in the past 9 years. While this new chapter may have been unexpected and confusing at first, its turned into discovering who I am, living as my most authentic self, and creating a life here in France that I wouldn’t trade for anything. So I hope you’re ready, because this is my main character era 🇫🇷 A lot of my content is going to stay the same, but be ready for some exciting changes too. So if you love 💗 solo travel 💗 life in France 💗 bucketlist European destinations then you’re in the right place! #BreakupAbroad #SoloTravelFrance #ExpatInFrance #DivorceRecovery #MainCharacterEnergy #TravelReel #SoloFemaleTraveler #HealingEra #doitscared #livingabroadsolo #movingabroad #livingoverseas #healing #breakup #breakuphealing #movingon

- ✨follow heckin.trekkin for part 2! After 1.5 years living full time on the road in the Pacific Northwest, these 8 places actually lived up to the hype 👇 📍 Chain Lakes Loop – 6.5 miles, moderate One of the most underrated alpine lake hikes near Mount Baker. Wildflowers, ridgelines, and constant views of Mount Shuksan 📍 Tamanawas Falls (OR) – 3.4 miles, easy A stunning 100-foot waterfall crashing over a lava cliff. The trail follows a creek through lush forest—super rewarding for a short hike! 📍 Lake Serene (WA) – 7.4 miles, hard One of the best bang-for-your-buck lake hikes in WA. Steep climb, but the turquoise lake under Mount Index? Unreal 🤩 📍 Mount Rainier National Park Can’t go wrong here, but my go-to favorites: Skyline Trail (5.5 miles, moderate) for meadows + glacier views Tolmie Peak (5.6 miles, moderate) for an epic lake-and-peak combo 📍 Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor (OR) A stretch of coastal Oregon packed with sea stacks, natural bridges, and insane photo ops! Go for sunrise or fog for the full moody effect 📍 Ruby Beach (WA) – 0.5 miles, easy Driftwood, sea stacks, and tide pools. A classic Olympic Peninsula stop that never gets old—especially at sunset or low tide! 📍 Cape Flattery (WA) – 1.2 miles, easy The northwesternmost point in the lower 48 states. Short walk through a lush forest to unreal coastal cliffs, sea caves and gorgeous turquoise-blue water 📍 Maple Pass Loop (WA) – 7.2 miles, moderate Hands-down one of the best loop hikes in the state. Go in fall for golden larches, or summer for alpine views and meadows full of wildflowers! 🔖 Save this for your next PNW road trip 🧭 Tag a friend you’d explore these with 📍 Follow for more underrated hikes, road trip stops & real travel recs from someone who’s been there #pacificnorthwest #pnwhiking #pnwadventures #pnwroadtrip #pacificnorthwestwonderland #hikingwashington #hikingoregon #mountrainiernationalpark #northcascades #chainlakesloop #lakeSerene #tamanawasfalls #maplepassloop #capeflattery #samuelhboardman #rubybeach #roadtrippnw #travelreels #hiddengetaways #naturelovers #wanderlustpnw #fulltimetravel #pnwlife
