- Last Day Highlights: Family Fun at Jekyll Island Our final day on this unforgettable family road trip was nothing short of magical. We started with a delightful brunch in the elegant Grand Ballroom at the Jekyll Island Club Resort—where historic charm meets Southern hospitality. After fueling up, we grabbed bikes from Jekyll Wheels and spent the afternoon exploring the island’s scenic paths. Pedaling through lush landscapes and ocean views, we soaked up every moment of this beautiful coastal gem. Next stop: Shark Tooth Beach, where we hunted for unique treasures along the shoreline. The kids (and adults!) loved discovering little pieces of the sea’s history. To cap off the day, we savored a sunset dinner at The Wharf, a perfect spot right on the water. The golden hues fading over the horizon were the ideal farewell to a trip full of family memories and adventure. Jekyll Island, you’ve been incredible—thank you for the moments that will last a lifetime. #hosted
- Day 15 on the road and we found our slice of heaven! ☀️ We spent the day completely unwinding with a sun-soaked pool and cabana day at the Jekyll Ocean Club. It was the perfect way to soak up the last bit of our trip and just relax. And the day only got better from there! We had dinner at the incredible Eighty Ocean Kitchen and Bar. The oceanfront, open-air setting was absolutely perfect for watching the sun set. We feasted on delicious coastal Georgia fare and local, Lowcountry favorites that were a total game-changer! From morning to night, this spot has it all—including those poolside beverage services we enjoyed all afternoon. If you could spend a day doing anything, what would you choose?
