- 4 weeks ago, I got back from a soul-filling trip across Europe. And I didn’t diet once Not even to balance out the croissants Not even to earn the wine This trip felt different because: • I didn’t feel the need to prepare my body for vacation, I prepared my mind to stay present in it • I walked 20k steps a day in some cities not to burn calories, but because I was excited to explore • I ate gelato 2 days in a row not because I deserved it, but because it was hot out and sounded yummy • I finally proved to myself: You don’t have to pause your health goals just because you’re traveling when your goals are rooted in freedom, they travel with you • The old me would pack protein bars, Google healthy restaurants, and pre-plan workouts This time? I packed comfy shoes, trusted my body, and let joy be the guide I discovered an amazing pilates studio which was fun and new Some days, dinner was salad and sparkling water. Other nights, it was late-night pizza and zero regrets Because my body knows how to balance itself, I just have to listen 📍Paris, Berlin, Pogliano a Mare, Lisbon and a few hidden towns I’ll forever hold in my heart __ I know food freedom can feel like a faraway place But it’s not It’s here In your next trip In your next meal In your next decision to not overthink it ✨You can live a life where you feel good without punishing your body for wanting joy And if you’ve ever struggled to enjoy travel without the guilt spiral This post is your sign: There’s another way __ PS: Posting photos of my travels? I’m still warming up to that So here’s just one of me post-pasta, post-wine, very full, very happy in Matera 😆🍷
- August felt like a month of slowing down and really soaking in the little things that make life feel full. Between slow, restful weekends, wandering through local farmers markets and filling my basket with vibrant veggies + fruits and all the excitement of prepping for Burning Man - It’s been this beautiful mix of grounding routines and gearing up for something bigger. What I love about this balance is how much it mirrors nutrition too: some days are all about ease, rest, and simple nourishment, while others call for preparation, energy and a little extra intention to fuel what’s coming next. Both matter and together they create resilience. Stay tuned! 🚀 Burning Man recap is coming soon and I can’t wait to share it with you guys. ✨
- We all make big career choices at some point. Some stay in safe jobs. Some try side hustles. A few take the leap. And the rarest ones? They build something of their own. Back in 2019, I was working full-time as a clinical dietitian and on the side I started building my practice. I’d see my own nutrition and personal training clients early mornings and late evenings, outside of my hospital hours, just slowly laying the foundation. By 2022, I was working at Kaiser as an outpatient dietitian. And when I finally saved up enough to feel ready, I put in my two weeks. It wasn’t easy. It came with self-doubts, limiting beliefs, and more tears than I can count. But I’ve never once looked back or regretted it. Because with that decision came freedom- the freedom to choose what I do, how I do it and who I serve. Entrepreneurship isn’t simple. It’s lonely at times. But it’s also deeply fulfilling. Today, I get to lead a team of 7 incredible dietitians who share my mission: helping people heal their relationship with food, body image, gut health and hormones for good. And every single day, I feel grateful and proud for how far this journey has brought me. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about leaving a job. It’s about choosing yourself, your vision and your values. And that’s a decision I’ll never regret. Happy 3 years to being an entrepreneur and to the success of Hackett Health
