Not sure that Teddy will be leaving a 5 star uber review for Gary’s social media managers driving though. He seemed to have some complaints about the bumps.

I posted the last clip and then disappeared into the backcountry for five days. To answer a few questions that came up:
➡️ no Gary isn’t drugged he loves to nap on his boat.
➡️ this isn’t AI, I really did hike 16km and paddle 4km with my cat to see a glacier. I really am that strange of a person.
➡️ he’s not cold, we came here specifically because it was such a hot day and being on the water near the ice meant Gary would be comfortable outside.

![Two years ago today I managed to get a photo of Gary I’d been hoping to for ages - him in front of a pyrocumulous column.
If you live in a community where wildfire is a concern, the Incident Commeownder has this advice - make sure you have a plan for your pets in the event of an evacuation.
Include pet food, medication and other supplies in your evacuation kit.
And also be aware that pets can seriously complicate your own evacuation - many reception centres are unable to accept pets. If you are relying on emergency transportation know that sometimes buses or evacuation flights are also not always pet friendly.
Do your best to think about where you will go and how you will get there in the event an evacuation occurs.
If you find yourself unable to bring your pet, know that emergency services do try very hard to provide care for animals that remain in evacuated communities. Pay attention to local information to find ways you can inform authorities that your pet remains in your home.

Getting good shots of Gary requires lots of patience, many attempts and a bit of luck.
It’s extra hard when we’re trying to get photos with his Jeep, because he would really prefer to just be inside of it, rather than posing with it.
