Rajiv’s Roundtable

NY or LA? Greatest actor of all time? Which movie best captured life in the 1990s? Ideas to improve America—serious or hilarious? What standard advice is just total BS? How hopeful or fearful are you of the future in this country and around the world? If you’re not going to have kids, how would that affect your choice of spouse? Whoa, that got heavy.

These are some of the questions we’re tackling on Rajiv’s Roundtable. I’ve long wanted to do this: deep-dive into topics I find interesting. So, I hit up a number of my friends here in LA, mostly comics and actors, but not all. I told ‘em:

You don’t need to be an expert. If you’re passionate, that’ll shine through. A topic should inspire you to be like, “Man, I NEED to be at the table for that one.” The only rule: don’t wing it.

Oh, and remember: an argument is logical; a fight is emotional. We want arguments, not fights. Keep it respectful. But when debating, DISAGREEMENTS are good. We’re not looking for consensus. The point is to create a series of discussions that are insightful and funny.

The idea is that you, the viewer, should simply be able to identify with at least one person’s point-of-view, thinking, “That’s so me.”

The Uncomfortable Truth in the Michael Jackson Convo. If you still listen to his music, you’ve decided it’s worth it. I say “immeasurable,” but then I wonder if you can measure it…
