💰 $124,844 FOMC Week Trading This is exactly how I made $124,844 during the second week of September 2025 — one of my best trading weeks this year. Here’s the breakdown: ✅ Started the Week Strong I kicked off Monday with a clean short on GBPUSD — three positions, 1:1 RR, booked ~$12K and set the tone for the week. The goal was to trade FOMC with house money, not dip into capital. 📊 Gold Setup & Multiple Attempts Tuesday was all about Gold. Price hit all-time highs around 3685, and I anticipated a recovery later in NY session. I took multiple entries — first four trades all hit breakeven. Fifth & sixth attempts? Same story. But on the seventh trade, price finally broke, and I held it to my target. By end of Tuesday, I was sitting on $55K in profit. 📉 FOMC Strategy Heading into Wednesday, my bias was for DXY to recover post-FOMC. My first trade got stopped out (–20 pips), but I re-entered after the press conference started — same sell bias on Gold and GBPUSD. 🔥 The Payoff Both trades ran beautifully: • GBPUSD: +80 pips → $14.5K • Gold: +280 pips → $54K Total for the week: $124,844 🚀 ⸻ Key Lesson: I risked profits, not capital, on FOMC day. This kept me psychologically stable and allowed me to execute with confidence. Even if the trades failed, I’d still walk away green for the week.
