I hate diet culture just as much as you probably do, but I also support women who want to lose weight—not through restrictive diets or quick fixes, but in a way that’s healthy and sustainable.

So often when people think of weightloss, they associate it with toxic, restrictive behaviors because, sadly, that’s the norm.

Diet culture promotes unrealistic expectations, quick fixes, demonizing different types of foods, and often leaves us feeling terrible about ourselves. It can make us obsess over every calorie, ingredient and number on the scale, instead of focusing on how we FEEL and our overall health and wellbeing. It just feels gross and icky!😔

But it really doesn’t have to be this way.
Weight loss doesn’t have to be restrictive and shameful. That’s why I approach it in a different way.

💁🏻‍♀️When we work together, you’ll be able to feel GOOD about the way we approach weight loss: no restrictions, no food rules or excessive exercise, & making sure you’re eating ENOUGH for your goals without guilt or shame.

Weight loss also won’t be our sole focus. It’s a great goal to have, but when you move your body consistently, fuel it with nourishing food, and prioritize your overall well-being, you’ll be able to FEEL a difference too and notice so many other wins as well! 

But don’t worry, with my proven strategy, weight loss will naturally follow if that’s your goal too.

For years I thought “being healthy” meant forcing myself to drink black coffee, even though I hated it 🤢

Why? Because I believed I had to save calories by all means, even if it meant I was grimacing while drinking my daily coffee. 

Now that I actually understand calories and macros and know how much my body needs, I don’t second guess the 15 calorie creamer in my coffee, or ordering a fun latte from time to time.

Healing my relationship with food meant letting go of rules like that and realizing that enjoying my coffee the way I like it doesn’t make me “bad” or “undisciplined.”

One of the biggest mistakes I see with tracking is guessing instead of actually measuring.

You might think you’re using 2 tablespoons...
But if you’re eyeballing it, chances are you’re way off-and it adds up fast.

Hint: If you’re tracking your food and in a calorie deficit but not losing weight...you’re not actually in a deficit.

This can be a sneaky reason why!!

That’s why I highly recommend using measuring cups or a food scale- not to be obsessive, but to learn what portion sizes actually look like.

***And that doesn’t mean you can’t use more than 2 Tbsp of dressing in your salad just because that’s the “official serving size”!! 

Because remember, there are no food rules! You can eat more or less than a “serving”...

But it DOES means you’ll understand how much you’re actually consuming and can track it correctly.

Tracking macros accurately for a season helps you learn what’s in the food you’re eating and what your body actually needs to feel and function at its best.

The goal isn’t to track forever. It’s to build awareness and confidence that lasts.

I’m talking eating it by the spoonful like soup...

I’d tell myself “just a little,” and suddenly half the jar was gone.

I’d wonder how I could eat so clean all day and not lose weight, but I didn’t realize my little nightly peanut butter parties were easily adding up to over 1000 calories.

The worst part? I genuinely thought I had no self-control, but it turns out, I was just under-eating.

I wasn’t eating enough protein, I was scared of carbs, and l’d “save calories” all day by skipping breakfast and just having a protein bar for lunch...only to feel ravenous by 8pm. No WONDER my body was hungry!!

And since I never let myself buy sweets (because I didn’t “trust” myself), peanut butter became the go-to dessert.

But now? I eat plenty of carbs. I don’t fear dessert. I eat full meals throughout the day.

And years later, now a jar of peanut butter will last months for me and I can’t remember the last time I went overboard eating it. I can have it in the house and forget it’s even there.

That shift didn’t happen from “more discipline.”

It happened when I finally gave my body what it actually needed.

✨I stopped restricting

✨I started building a healthy, balanced relationship with food

Let’s talk about a hard truth no one wants to say out loud:

Just because something is “healthy” doesn’t mean it’s helping you lose weight.

You could be:

👉🏻Drinking green smoothies

👉🏻Snacking on protein bars

👉🏻Eating avocado toast with the works

👉🏻Snacking on almonds & homemade granola

👉🏻Using dates, honey, maple syrup instead of sugar 

...and still be in a calorie surplus that makes you gain weight without realizing it.

Why? Because fat loss is about being in a calorie deficit, not just eating clean.

And body composition (aka whether you’re lean & toned or not) is driven by your macros, not just your calories (especially protein!)

So if you’re not getting enough protein, not eating in a deficit, or not paying attention to portion sizes... You can stay stuck even while eating 100% whole foods.

But here’s how you’re going to fix that problem:

✅Know your calorie & protein targets

✅Prioritize protein at every meal

✅Choose satisfying meals that balance protein,carbs & fats

✅Prioritize mostly whole foods, but don’t fear processed foods either. Sometimes it’s what helps you stay consistent and realistic in your journey

And remember, it’s not about restriction, it’s about strategy😎

Dating someone with a completely normal relationship with food used to feel... overwhelming. 

I used to skip meals, eat barely anything all day, and feel consumed by food thoughts 24/7.
