Whenever we visit popular attractions in Paris, we see VERY LOOOONG lines!

It is such a WASTE of time, especially if you are visiting Paris for a few days.

❌ You don’t have to stand in long lines and waste HOURS, even in the top attractions.

❌ You don’t need any of those expensive skip-the-line tickets either.

✅ You need our hack to access priority entrances with very short lines or NO lines at all!

It’s SO easy and SO good! 🎉

👉 Comment “HACK” if you want to discover it. We want to keep it as VIP information. The fewer people know the better 🤫😊

👇 Here’s the Paris mistake to avoid:

We see THIS mistake all the time, all over Paris:

❌ Tourists standing in line waiting for HOURS to buy a ticket that they could have easily purchased online in 5 minutes 🤦‍♀️

Here’s what to do:

✅ Identify what attractions need tickets in advance of your trip. And buy them BEFORE you arrive in Paris from the official website.

As a rule of thumb, you can get tickets to most experiences if you book around 4-8 weeks before your trip.

✅ There are attractions that you don’t need to buy in advance. For these, just buy the ticket ONLINE on the day (or the day before) of your visit. This will help you skip the ticket line and go straight to the security line instead.

Want to know which attractions you need advanced tickets for and which you don’t?

👉Comment “ATTRACTION” and we’ll send you a list typed out to your DM.

this tiny place has more yachts than grocery stores. 😳

📍Welcome to Monaco

Monaco is the second-smallest country in the world… right after the Vatican.

But it is also one of the most glamorous and luxurious.

You like it or not, but you walk and everything shines: the marble streets, the supercars, the cliffside views.

But Monaco is more than champagne and casinos.

The old town is peaceful and our favorite part of the city with its colorful facades, quiet alleys, and postcard views over the sea.

Here are 5 things to do in Monaco:
1️⃣ Explore the Old Town streets
2️⃣ Visit the Prince’s Palace
3️⃣ Visit the Saint Nicholas Cathedral.
4️⃣ Experience the Casino de Monte-Carlo
5️⃣ Walk at Port Hercule and enjoy the yachts

👉 Save it for your next French Riviera escape and follow us frenchgourmetstravel

There’s literally a war in France about how to call this delicious pastry 🤭

Some say pain au chocolat, others swear by chocolatine.

👉 comment “FOODIE” to have all of our food recommendations and explanations

It’s such a big deal that at the World Championship of Pain au Chocolat / Chocolatine, they use both names in the title… just to avoid any problem! We went there last year and saw it 😂.

Nobody really knows about which one came first…

So where is it what?

Pain au chocolat → Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Lille… basically most of France.

Chocolatine → Toulouse, Bordeaux, and much of the South-West.

Whatever you call it, it is the same recipe and we can all agree it’s pure heaven with a coffee or a tea.

👉 Tell us in the comments: are you Team Pain au chocolat or Team Chocolatine?

Paris is overflowing with treasures, but if you could only keep 2 attractions for life… which ones would you choose? 😱

Here are some of the most magical places in the City of Light:

🗼 Eiffel Tower: The ultimate Paris icon, offering breathtaking views day and night.

🎨 Louvre Museum: Home to the Mona Lisa and thousands of masterpieces across centuries.

⛪️ Notre-Dame Cathedral: A Gothic jewel, currently being restored but still a must-see.

⛰️ Sacré-Cœur: Sitting atop Montmartre, it gives you one of the best views of Paris.

🖼️ Musée d’Orsay: A stunning former train station filled with Impressionist wonders.

⭐️ Arc de Triomphe: Climb up for a spectacular view over the Champs-Élysées.

👇 Save this neighborhood in Paris:

One of our favorite areas to explore and recommend is Le Marais, in the 3rd and 4th arrondissements.

Here, you’ll find:

✨ Charming cobblestone streets with a true Parisian feel
✨ Trendy boutiques, vintage shops & art galleries
✨ Some of the best gourmet restaurants, pastries, and cafés in town
✨ A mix of historic mansions, hidden courtyards & beautiful squares
✨ Amazing museums

However, this is not an area that will please everyone...

This area is perfect for you if you love to:

🫶 Shop in local boutiques
🫶 Eat super well

Practical information:
ℹ️ Le Marais is perfect whether rains or shines
ℹ️ Avoid Sundays & Mondays, when most things are closed (museums in this area close on Mondays)
ℹ️ If you like museums, but you’re not willing to face the major crowds in the Louvre, Le Marais is a great alternative

ℹ️ You need to book restaurants in advance, especially for the ones you really want to try. Many restaurants get fully booked days, weeks, or even months in advance.

ℹ️ Treat your restaurant experience the same as attractions: search in advance for what you want to try and book it.

Choosing the 15 most beautiful cities in France is almost impossible.

The country is full of charm everywhere you go. We didn’t include villages (too many gems!).

And this list isn’t a strict ranking… but let’s be honest, Paris will always come first in our hearts ❤️.

Here are our 15 cities you cannot miss:
🗼 Paris: The City of Light, romance, and timeless beauty.
🍷 Lyon: The capital of gastronomy, with a mix of history and food heaven.
🍇 Bordeaux: Wine country at its best, elegant and refined.
🏰 Strasbourg: Half-timbered houses, canals, and a touch of Germany. Ideal during Christmas.
🌊 Nice: Sparkling blue Mediterranean and Belle Époque charm. We love the old city.
🏔️ Annecy: The “Venice of the Alps,” with canals and stunning mountains. What a view!
🕍 Avignon: Once the seat of popes, full of medieval grandeur and history.
🏡 Colmar: A real-life fairytale with colorful houses and flowers. Our favorite option for Christmas if you have a car.
🚀 Toulouse: Known as the “Pink City,” lively and cultural. And amazing food!
🌻 Aix-en-Provence: Elegant fountains, markets, and lavender nearby.
🍋 Menton: Sunshine, lemon groves, and Riviera charm. And Italian charm as well
⚓ Marseille: Authentic, vibrant port city with amazing seafood. We spent a lot of time there!
⛪ Rouen: Gothic cathedral, cobbled streets, and Monet’s inspiration. And easy access from Paris!
🥂 Reims: Champagne capital, sparkling history and bubbles. Florian was born there 🥰.
🥘 Dijon: Burgundy wine, mustard, and medieval architecture. We love Pinot noir and Chardonnay wines!
