![10 weeks! a new song every friday and a show every friday (in 10 different cities!). first friday is THIS friday. and its glasgow. because here we fuckin go. 🏴
we’ve spent the last year or so planning how we want these shows to sound and look and feel. there is an absolutely ridiclous lineup of people joining us in different places. genuinely like 10 of my dream raves in every way. this week is with yousukeyukimatsu and haaihaaihaai .
weve never done anything like this before.
oh and one other thing i wanna say!
the reason why im only doing just the one show every week is because I’ve learnt I reallllyyyy love the shows where I feel like I’m in the EXACT same energy as you guys. when the energy is like I’ve looked forward to this all week and this is my Friday night let’s have a magical time together. So I was like I’d love to just do a whole tour where I can be in that feeling with everyone EVERY time!
and also the reason we’re only doing one show a week is because I wanted to have 6 days a week free to write because I really love making music and it takes me a lot of hours to get stuff I love. so that’s why sometimes we don’t make it to everywhere.

a lot of the people in this are part of an incredible community of ppl who have been coming to our shows since the beginning. a lot of the gang didn’t used to know eachother but now they go on holiday together and stuff and thats jus nice.
half way thru the night someone told me it was makas birthday. so the evening found a whole new sense of purpose! Maka is one of the absolute OG’s of that squad and we see him all round the world. hes been thru an awful lot and im honoured that my songs sometimes get to play in the background of that, so it was beautiful to have makas birthday in the green room in Rome ❤️

![After a show i never quite know what to do. like you go from being filled with the most adreneline ever, to suddenly being like alone or basically alone. Often I just play songs im working on and jam on my keyboard to try ideas out to try n calm down and stuff, cos i cant really be social often.
So when i saw fede commenting on a post that he had a rooftop that overlooked the show i thought wow this could be like my dream afters. Just going straight up there and get to play songs on my ones and still get to see and feel the energy of the show as everyone leaves!
It got even madder when we realised it was literally a 3 min run from show to roof. So if we left the moment I got off the stage, everyone would still be in the square below!
I played this whole set just to fede and the beautiful nonna who also lives in this building. It was a lovely sight to look up occasionally and see them both there. Him dancing her sitting. Me a bit of both.

We made one song, then we made two, then we made this. This is me as a fan of skepta my whole life being like ‘look skep is the goat’. from back 2 back to victory lap to 21 years. No one can say they’ve done what he’s done and still doin it.
I made the whole tape a continuous mix so if you want to listen to it without interuptions we put it on youtube as one thing!
