Truth is… this hurts, but it’s necessary.

I used to think the only way to build muscle was to train harder, go longer, and never stop. But over time I learned: growth doesn’t happen in the gym… it happens in recovery.

Cupping. Deep tissue work. Rest. Sleep. All of it matters just as much as the training itself.

Every time one of these clips resurfaces, I feel the same thing you probably do.. Confusion, discomfort, maybe even disgust.

I look at that version of me and don’t even recognize who I was. And what’s worse? I chose to be him. Not once, but over and over again. I didn’t lose control, I gave it away. To ego. To validation. To a world I thought I had to perform for.

Greed. Lust. Arrogance. Selfishness. I embodied them all. I wore them like armor. And I convinced myself it was “just content” or “just a persona.” But it wasn’t. It was me. And I hurt people. A lot of people. Whether I was helping them or not, I was still hurting them.

This post isn’t for pity. It’s not an apology tour. It’s not PR. It’s just me saying: I’m not proud. I get it. I own it. And every single day now, I fight to never be that person again.

I can’t rewrite the past. But I can take full responsibility for it and I can live differently moving forward.

The End of an Era. 🪒

I wanted change. And for some reason, my mind kept telling me I’d get it by shaving the beard.

As much as I loved it and what it added to my identity it grew through some of the darkest moments of my past year. And I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was carrying the weight of that energy with it.

So I shaved it.

Did it change my life?
No. 😂 I miss it.

But sometimes your mind needs to do something, anything, to spark a shift. And this was mine.

Don’t watch these and think you need to copy what the person eats to get results.
That’s not how this works.

There are a million different ways I could’ve hit my calorie goals this day. These meals just happened to be simple, boring, and realistic for the mood I was in.

Truth is, I was lazy. I wasn’t feeling my best. So I kept it basic and hit my numbers.

That’s what matters.

Hit your Calorie Goals through the proper portion of Fats, Carbs and Protein.
Once you understand that, you’ll stop obsessing over eating exactly like the next person.

One more thing. Since filming this, I’ve already increased my calories higher than what you’ll see in the video. So don’t use this as a blueprint, just a reference.

Scared to post this because it’s NOT about Speed.
It’s about the idea that carbs are the enemy. 

“Cut carbs to lose weight” isn’t wrong.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.

I used to be TERRIFIED of carbs.
That’s why I loved trying keto, animal based, or low carb diets.
Because I was taught carbs = fat gain.

Everything changed when I started tracking macros. Basically eating the right amount of fats, carbs and protein per day. 

Instead of fearing carbs, I started using them:
For energy, performance, and a way more flexible lifestyle and selection of food.

Here’s the truth:
There’s a study and a social media page to support every diet on earth.
Watch enough videos and you’ll be scared to eat anything.

The best diet is the one that works for you long term.
That fits your life.
That doesn’t bounce you in and out of yo yo cycles. Like the ones that cause me to do a new transformation every year, you know?

Not here to push a plan.
Just saying: if you love carbs, you don’t have to cut them all to make progress.

Just to clarify for the people who actually care to read.
Yes, calories matter.

But I care more about where those calories come from.

Something can be “X” calories…
But if 90% of it is fat, that matters.

I don’t just look at total number of calories, I look at the macro split.

That way I track my macros properly and don’t have 90% of my calories coming from just fats. Does that make sense?

I went to see my orthopedic doctor because I knew I needed new insoles.

The discomfort and imbalances during my runs were getting worse and apparently, so were my arches.

When you take your fitness seriously, you quickly learn it’s not all about what you do in the gym. 

It’s about recovery and taking care of the little things most people ignore that affect posture, pain, mobility and alignment.

I’d rather invest in my health now than pay for it later.
