Mutt Strut 2025 down at the Navy Yard was a huge success! All proceeds went to benefit Philly PAWS, the nonprofit dedicated to providing care for shelter animals across the city. Dogs and their humans came out in full Halloween spirit—costumes, pup cups, and plenty of tail wags to kick off spooky season. There were chase contests, costume competitions, musical sitting, and more—plus a few sneaky pup cup moments from my own dog, Livy, while I was photographing the fun. Some standout costumes included A League of Their Own featuring 17-year-old Maggie and her pal Roo (who matched his human as Grease Lightning), phillypugs Gus stealing the show as Mrs. Doubtfire in his fruit cart, and of course, Taylor Swift and the Cereal Killers.
