Between private clients, squeezing in my own workouts and delivering 30+ classes weekly. Every morning starts early, each one has its own rhythm.
I still make sure to find some time to rest- whether that’s recharging on the couch or spending it with my favorite people. Balance is everything 🤗

Hey guys, I just want to be real with you for a moment. I don’t know when you started following me, but as you know, I recently took a 1,5 month break from Dubai and my work. It was so needed- for my mental health and personal life. After that break, I felt like my energy bounced back. I became more creative, more excited for every single class seeing your beautiful faces and so grateful that I get to call this my job 🥹

But lately, I’ve been struggling with my energy levels again. Last week I had a big exam that earned me another bachelor’s degree and after 3 years of studying I can officially call myself a nutritionist (more nutrition tips coming soon) 🥳 Still, somewhere along the way I feel like I lost a bit of myself. I don’t feel in shape, I’m not fully rested- even though I’m in bed by 9:30/10pm. Waking up every day at 5–6am for classes and squeezing in workouts beforehand often leaves me feeling burnt out. I’m trying to get back into shape and rebuild my healthy habits, but it’s definitely not easy.

As a Pilates teacher, people often expect you to be the perfect role model- always in top shape, always motivated, always smiling. But the truth is, we also have our ups and downs. We need breaks, we have days when working out isn’t the priority and sometimes we just don’t feel like being “on” all the time. And that’s okay. A slow walk once a day can already give your body the movement it needs.

If you’re feeling low or not like yourself, just know you’re not alone. I’m right here with you. This week I’m taking small steps to rebuild my healthy habits and starting next week I’m pushing forward with new energy.

Flashback to my very first half marathon- October last year! 

No prep, knee injury, last long run 4 months before the race and somehow, I still made it. Got my badge at the very last minute and ticked off a goal that had been on my list forever 🤗 I felt powerful, proud, and unstoppable crossing that finish line.
Was it all sunshine and rainbows? Absolutely not 😅 The rest of the day I spent in bed, dealing with stomach issues thanks to some pre-workout and energy gels on an empty stomach. Lesson learned: sometimes the journey is just as intense off the track as it is on it.
