3 things I follow as a nutritionist ⬇️

1. Eating in quarter/half plates:
* - Portion control: Provides a simple visual guide for managing food intake.
* - Prevents overeating: Encourages appropriate portion sizes, avoiding weight gain and digestive discomfort.
* - Mindful eating: Promotes awareness of food serving and promotes mindful eating habits.

2. Fill your plate with vegetables:
- Prioritizes vegetables: Increases fiber, vitamin, and mineral intake, crucial for overall health, digestion, and satiety.  

Soluble fiber forms a gel that delays stomach emptying and nutrient absorption, making you feel fuller for longer. It also releases fullness hormones that signal satiety and reduce hunger.

High-fiber foods often have fewer calories for the same amount, allowing you to eat more and feel satisfied without overeating.

3.Don’t give up on your native foods like rice or roti. Instead, incorporate them in a mindful way, such as choosing whole grain options, controlling portion sizes, and pairing them with plenty of vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats. This approach allows you to enjoy your native cuisine while making healthier choices.

Part 1 Choley Recipe ⬇️
Soak Choley overnight for 8 to 10 hours
In a pressure cooker at the Chole water salt to taste and 1 tea bag . Let it pressure cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
Now for the Tadka in a pan take some ghee/oil add  crushed cloves chopped green chilies and tomato puree. Add salt to taste cover and cook till ghee/oil separates
Then add then dry masala’s like Choley masala coriander powder and chilli powder . 
Mix the tadka with the Choley and cook for 2-3 mins.

Add veggies into your kids diet

In one than making 2 things separately 

Here I have taken multigrain flour mix
To which I have added finely chopped
Cauliflower half and 1 whole bunch of meethi leaves finely chopped using a chopper
Some ginger and garlic also chopped 
Salt to taste 
First knead the chopped veggies and flour together and add only a little water at a time if needed once the dough is ready to roll out your roti and roast them on the pan for some  extra nutrition feel free to add some seeds on top I have added sesame seeds here. Enjoy this delicious lunch alkng with some chicken on the side or some Greek yogurt for extra protein..

I added salt cumin coriander powder

Sesame seeds . Add whole wheat flour and knead into a smooth dough. Adding little water at a time as needed .
And roll them as usual and cook on the pan
Here I served with Greek yogurt and pomegranate seeds ❤️
