I said what I said 🙃

Here’s the thing(s): 

- I’m just not as concerned about ingredients as I am overall balance. I don’t need something else to stress about and most of my clients don’t either 

- plz for the love, don’t consult skinnytok for weight loss advice. You can eat more than 3 bites and still lose weight, promise. Again, it’s more about the overall balance 

- I’m no longer willing to drink my coffee any other way than how I like it and you don’t have to either 

- Ice cream and summer are still in. Hold the pumpkin spice and cozy vibes a bit longer, at least until it’s not still 90 degrees outside. Tysm 

- In the same breath, could not be more excited that it’s almost Gilmore girl season. Equally excited for protein pancakes with real butter. 

Lastly, misery and restriction and are not necessary ingredients for you to look and feel your best 👏

You can have the grilled chicken and the mac 
You can go on date night and enjoy sushi 
You can order you latte the way you like it 
You can enjoy ice cream on the beach 
You can put butter on your pancakes 

All things I wish would have realized sooner so I’m passing them down to you 🫶

I HEAR IT ALL THE TIME ⬇️

eat your body weight in protein a day 
but stay in a calorie deficit 
sugar is bad 
but also eat lots of fruit 
avoid processed food 
but buy this protein powder 

and it goes on and on and on. I’m a dietitian and it gets overwhelming even for me 🫠

But I’m here to tell you 2 things: 

1️⃣ eating 180, 200, 230g protein a day for most women is wild and just not necessary for weight loss. I mean, how much egg whites and grilled chicken can a girl eat???? 

2️⃣ I eat some form of dessert almost every night. I have a creamy latte almost every day. I am in no way familiar with depriving myself of “little treats” and I’m still maintaining a 60lb weight los s

Oh and also, it’s the noise and misinformation that makes it so overwhelming and guess what? The best results don’t come from your instagram feed anyways
