![I was always the taller, thicker, curvier girl growing up. I grew to hate my body. I couldn’t wear the same things my sisters could. I grew to believe I don’t look good in the shorts and skirts and dresses all the “normal skinny” girls wear. I grew to believe I was unhealthy with an abnormal bmi and body. I was always active& outside growing up and my mom fed me the healthiest middle eastern food so I never understood why I was so “different”
Then i got older & wiser and I said f it I’m not gonna wait to be skinny so I started to wear what I wanted and I felt soooo good but all of a sudden I became the girl “asking for attention” I look “too sexual” guys would never take someone that dresses like me seriously? There was never a balance. I was being disrespected by women in my life more than anything.
Then I got sick and lost so much weight and most of my curves. I was finally able to wear the short shorts and tiny tops without getting the same looks and judgement… but ultimately I wasn’t fully feeling like myself or fully happy. Then I gained all the weight back and then some and I felt like I HAD to be sad about it.
The reality is, no matter how I feel in the moment, I always look back at pictures and videos and say DAMN I LOOKED GOOD, why did I ever think I was too skinny or too fat? So my mindset has shifted to love myself no matter what size I am.
I posted these videos to just show the different journey/sizes I’ve been on and my page is just a personal collage for myself to look through & maybe in hopes of inspiring someone out there going through a similar struggle. I still get comments looking for the before or after so I’ll gladly post more but I assumed the video was only going to reach people that already have been following me for a while and already saw my different sizes. I really didn’t not expect all the positive comments & new followers. All this to say, thank you sooooooo much! Some days I wish I was skinny again but times like this, I am reminded of how beautiful and amazing this body of mine is that carried me and healed me through all these years. I love you 🩷]()
