Serving couture on a plate….& on 5th Ave 🍽️

lvcafenyc A Must-Try Experience on 5th Avenue ✨
SAVE THIS POST ⤵️

From the second you step inside Louis Vuitton’s Manhattan flagship, you feel it—the service, the energy, the luxury. ✨ After browsing the store, the experience flows right into the café, where every detail feels intentional and elevated.
The menu is just as chic as the setting. The monogrammed drinks aren’t just Instagram-worthy, they’re actually delicious.

🥂 And the food? Every dish delivered—lobster rolls that are buttery and fresh, the famous ravioli rich and flavorful, perfectly cooked chicken, and waffles that strike that dreamy sweet spot.

A quick tip: reservations are basically a must since it stays fully booked. But if you’re lucky, a walk-in could land you a spot (and trust me, it’s worth the wait).

And of course—you can’t leave without a photo in front of the giant Louis Vuitton trunk sitting right outside on 5th Avenue 🧳 An iconic New York moment that ties the whole experience together.

Fashion lovers, foodies, or anyone chasing a unique NYC memory—Café Louis Vuitton is that spot.

Would you make a stop at this iconic 5th Ave location and dine?

Athens, Greece is wildly underrated. Most travelers skip it, heading straight for Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Milos or other popular cities, but they’re missing out. 🇬🇷

Steal my 48-hour Athens itinerary ‼️⤵️ that blends history, food, & local culture:

Beyond the iconic Acropolis (pictured here), Athens is a living mosaic of history & modern culture, from buzzing street art and vibrant neighborhoods to a food scene that will change the way you think about Mediterranean cuisine (had the best Gyro of my life right here in Athens). Ancient ruins meet contemporary life at every corner, making it a city that surprises, delights, and sticks with you long after you leave.

Day 1: Ancient Athens & Neighborhood Vibes

Morning:
Start at the Acropolis early to beat the crowds. Don’t miss the Parthenon, Erechtheion, and Theater of Dionysus.

Explore the Acropolis Museum nearby for a deep dive into Greek history.

Lunch:
Grab a fresh Greek salad, souvlaki, or moussaka at a local taverna in Plaka.

Afternoon:
Wander the charming streets of Plaka and Monastiraki, stopping at shops, cafes, and the Monastiraki Flea Market.

Check out the Ancient Agora for more history and great photo ops.

Evening:
Head to Mount Lycabettus for sunset—take the funicular or hike for panoramic views of Athens.

Dinner in Kolonaki or a rooftop restaurant with Acropolis views.

Day 2: Modern Athens & Local Flavors

Morning:
Stroll through the Central Market on Athinas Street for a taste of local life.

Explore National Garden and see the nearby Zappeion Hall.

Lunch:
Try a traditional gyro at my favorite spot Tazza or seafood at a local taverna in Psiri.

Afternoon:
Discover street art in Gazi or visit the Museum of Cycladic Art or Benaki Museum.

Take a coffee break in a trendy café and enjoy people-watching.

Evening:
Wander Gazi or Exarchia for a lively nightlife scene.

Experience unlimited wine & cocktails, delicious food, overlooking the illuminated Acropolis at dinnerintheskyathens followed by a lounge to end the night.

Would you travel to Athens?

Dining on the edge of paradise 🌊🍷 — Santorini’s cliffside views taste just as good as the food.

SAVE & SHARE ⬇️
The best seafood restaurant in all of Santorini, Sunset Ammoudi! So worth the hype, not only the views but the cuisine and the drinks were chefs kisses!

You will need to make a reservation weeks in advance if you want a table with a view and by the water. You will need to click “book a table by the sea” to get this table and deposit is 180 euros to reserve which will get subtracted from your final bill at the restaurant. A win is a win!

The oysters, grilled lobster, calamari, and the lobster pasta were 10/10. Check my story for more! Now let me tell you, there are some “touristy” restaurants that aren’t worth the hype but this restaurant is not it! Save for your next trip to Santorini, Greece.

Would you eat here with these views?

Living proof that the best glow-up is God and a boarding pass. ✈️

✨ Be the woman who booked the flight, took the risks, made the money, and lived the life she wanted. ✨

Lately, I’ve been in a space of trying to live in my purpose, turning my dreams into reality while still navigating the reality that life… well, life be lifing. The other day my mom asked me, “Are you living in your purpose that God has called?” and I answered truthfully….. yes and no. Yes, because I’ve grown so much and taken real steps toward the life I envision. No, because there’s still so much I want to do, see, and become.
For me, part of that purpose is not only exploring the world but curating experiences where others can also explore the world, wandering through places we’ve never been, breathing in air we’ve never felt, tasting food we’ve never known, and meeting people who change our perspectives. It’s standing in front of a view so breathtaking that it reminds us how small our problems really are.

Living in your purpose isn’t always about having it all figured out. Sometimes, it’s about saying yes to the passport stamps, to the long flights that change you, to the solo trips that teach you you’re stronger than you knew. It’s about chasing experiences that make you feel alive, walking the streets of a new city, watching sunsets in places you can’t pronounce, and collecting moments that no one can take from you.

Every trip, every risk, every step toward yourself is a brick in the life you’re building. Purpose isn’t just a destination, it’s the journey of becoming the woman who refuses to settle for anything less than the world she’s meant to see. 🌍✈️

Sincerely,
Essie 💫

WET STORIES • SANTORINI 🇬🇷
If you’re heading to Santorini and want that perfect mix of chill and vibes, wet_stories_santorini is a must. Located right on Perivolos Beach, this beach club sits on that signature black volcanic sand, a whole vibe in itself.

The service was top-tier, super attentive without being overbearing. From the moment we arrived, they made sure we were taken care of. The menu? Fire. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated, not just beach food, real quality.

They offer hookah, beachside massages (I got the best foot massage of my life, no exaggeration, see last slide), and there’s a jet ski spot just a few doors down if you’re feeling adventurous. Music-wise, it leans heavy on Top 100 mix techno/house (which is normal for a Euro Summa), but the energy somehow balances relaxed and vibrant perfectly.

The water was crystal clear and felt amazing, but pro tip: bring water shoes, the rocks can be rough on bare feet. That said, it’s absolutely worth it.

Shoutout to the long-distance besties keeping the group chat alive and the flights booked! Who’s your ride-or-die no matter the miles?

As we get older, moving to new cities, traveling the world, building careers, getting married, having kids, navigating friendships naturally becomes more challenging. Life gets fuller, schedules get tighter, but the connections that matter always find a way to stay strong.

Friendships are truly a gift from God, one of life’s greatest blessings. But as we get older, they require more intentionality, grace, and effort. With everyone navigating their own journeys, careers, families, new cities, staying connected isn’t always easy. Nourishing real friendship takes time, vulnerability, and commitment. But when you’re able to link up in another city, even for a moment, it becomes more than just a trip, it’s a sacred space to laugh, reflect, pour into each other, and continue building something that distance can’t break. These are the moments that remind us: real friendships don’t fade, they evolve.

6 meaningful tips to navigate long-distance friendships, especially in your 30s when life gets fuller but the bond still matters:

1. Schedule Regular Check-Ins: Set recurring FaceTime or phone call dates, whether it’s weekly, monthly, or quarterly. Consistency keeps the friendship alive.

2. Send Life Updates! Big or Small: Don’t wait for major life moments. Share the random wins, hard days, or even just a funny meme. Staying in the loop matters.

3. Make Group Chats Your Safe Place: Keep group chats active. It’s an easy way to stay connected through voice notes, daily thoughts, or silly inside jokes.

4. Plan Trips Together (Even If It Takes Months): Having something on the calendar gives everyone something to look forward to and creates memories that deepen the bond.

5. Celebrate Each Other Loudly: Birthdays, promotions, breakups, babies…..celebrate your friend’s wins and show up for their losses, even from afar.

6. Give Each Other Grace: Life gets hectic. If someone doesn’t reply right away or misses a check-in, extend grace instead of guilt.

Would you travel hours just to hang out with your bestie?! 2025-07-23 21:28:40 .. 0 - 9 -98%
Summer in The Hamptons ☀️

SAVE THIS POST ⤵️‼️
Checking Off a Summer Bucket List Dream 💫🏖️

I don’t know about you, but a summer in the Hamptons has always been on my bucket list, and this year, I finally made it happen! From sun-soaked beach days to vineyard views and incredible eats, the Hamptons lived up to the hype and then some.

If you’re planning a trip (or just daydreaming about one), here are a few of my personal favorites you need to add to your list:

🌊 Beach/Day Clubs:
Gurney’s Montauk (vibes + views), Ketchy Beach for a chill scene, and Surf Lodge for sunset drinks and live music.

🍷 Wineries:
Wölffer Estate (a must for rosé lovers), Channing Daughters for a laid-back afternoon, and Duck Walk for a classic vineyard feel.

🍳 Brunch Goals:
75 Main (great people-watching), Claude’s (charming with great food), and SiSi for an elevated coastal vibe.

🍽️ Dinner Spots:
Southampton Social Club (check my last post for a peek!), Sag Harbor Tavern for seafood lovers, and Serafina for Italian comfort.

🔥 BBQ Cravings:
Smokin’ Wolf (legit some of the best ribs I’ve had), and Maple Tree BBQ Smokehouse if you want a casual, delicious fix.

🛏️ Where to Stay:
An Airbnb or a cute boutique-style hotel in South or East Hampton is ideal — DM me if you want my exact recs!

🚗 Getting Around:
Rent. A. Car. Trust me on this one. While the train, Jitney, or Hampton Luxury Liner are popular ways in, having a car was a game changer. Total freedom to explore on your own schedule.

Whether it’s a quick weekend escape or a full summer vibe, the Hamptons really is that girl. Have you been, or is it still on your list? 💬👇

Dinner? I had the short rib, melt-in-your-mouth tender. And dessert? Beignets, eclairs, and a chocolate mint cup I’m still dreaming about.

And let’s talk entertainment… Best DJ & live drummer combo in the Hamptons, they kept the party going all night long! 🔥

You’re always traveling, never vacationing…..
I’m that girl with the 5am alarms on vacation, a jam-packed itinerary, and a full day of excursions and reservations before most people have had their first mimosa because when I travel, I want to see and do EVERYTHING. I love an active trip, but I’ve learned to carve out at least one day (two if I’m lucky) to just DILLY DALLY. Whether it’s a spa day, relaxation at the beach, poolside lounging, cruising around a new city with no agenda or just doing nothing with intention, it’s my way of slowing down and actually feeling the place I worked so hard to see. It’s all about balance. Because even the adventure girl deserves a little rest.

Here are 5 smart and realistic ways to budget for traveling:

1. Set a travel budget goal
✈️Estimate Total Trip Cost: Include flights, lodging, food, local transportation, activities, shopping, and emergency funds.
✈️Break It Down: Figure out how much you need to save weekly or monthly to hit your goal by your trip date.
2. Open a separate travel fund
✈️Create a Dedicated Savings Account just for travel so you’re not tempted to dip into it.
✈️Automate Savings: Set up automatic transfers each payday to grow your fund without thinking about it.
3. Use Budgeting Apps or Spreadsheets
✈️Track Your Spending: Use apps like Mint, YNAB, or a Google Sheet to stay on top of your daily finances.
✈️Cut Unnecessary Expenses: Identify areas to trim — subscriptions, takeout, impulse buys — and redirect that money to travel.
4. Book Early and Be Flexible
✈️Snag Deals: Flights and hotels are usually cheaper when booked early.
✈️Be Date Flexible: Traveling mid-week or during off-peak seasons saves big. Use tools like Google Flights or Hopper to watch prices.
5. Maximize Rewards & Discounts
✈️Use Travel Credit Cards: Earn points or cash back on your everyday purchases.
✈️Look for Deals: Sign up for travel deal newsletters (like Scott’s Cheap Flights or Travelzoo), use student or group discounts, and check for promo codes.

💸 What’s your biggest struggle when budgeting for travel?

Never waiting on company to see the world. I’m standing on business — passport in hand. 🌍✈️💼

PSA ⤵️‼️
For so long, many of us put off exploring the world, waiting on the perfect timing, the right companion, or for someone else to finally be ready. We tie our dreams to someone else’s calendar, thinking the experience won’t be the same unless we share it. But the truth is, life doesn’t wait. The more you postpone your own adventures for someone else’s comfort or commitment, the more you risk missing out on the very moments that could shape you. There’s something powerful in realizing you don’t have to delay joy, growth, or discovery for anyone. You can book that flight, take that trip, and live fully now. The world is still out there, beautiful, wild, and waiting, and you don’t need someone else’s “yes” to give yourself permission to go see it.

You waiting on someone to see the world or standing on business?

At this age, I prioritize self-care & traveling…..without apology.

Not because it’s trendy. But because I’ve lived enough to know peace is priceless, presence is power, and joy needs space to breathe.

I no longer romanticize burnout, busy schedules, or being the “strong one” all the time. Instead, I romanticize moments like this, wrapped in a robe, surrounded by beauty, feeling soft, still, and completely in tune with myself.

There was a time I thought rest had to be earned. Now I know it’s essential.

There was a time I put everything and everyone first. Now I pour into myself first, so what overflows is genuine.

Whether it’s solo escapes or spontaneous adventures, I’m choosing experiences that replenish me. Because the version of me I’m becoming… she deserves this. Over and over again.

Here’s to soft life, full passports, and sacred routines that feel like rituals.🥂

Would you have guessed this spa is in the Dominican Republic?

Tucked away in the heart of the Dominican Republic, this hidden wellness haven retreat felt like stepping into another world in Punta Cana. So calm, luxurious, and deeply rejuvenating. Feel Harmony Spa at liveaquapuntacana is a must visit when visiting Punta Cana for a day of relaxation, because sometimes doing nothing is everything. And not to mention, their massage packages are just what you need to melt the stress away and step into pure tropical bliss. I received the Feel Harmony package that included a foot scrub massage, assisted stretch, and full-body massage and I left feeling renewed and recharged.

Don’t just visit places, feel them.
