I hate to say it but Autumn will be here before we know it. Ok, I don’t hate to say that because I’m an Autumn girl 🍂🙌🏼 but I know lots of you are still clinging on to Summer. We’ll soon be needing to make those little adjustments to our Summer outfits to suit the transitional weather.

This was my second time cruising on Celebrity Ascent and yet again it did not disappoint. As someone with ADHD I can struggle with settling into new places and adjusting to new surroundings which is why I tend to go on holiday to the same places that feel familiar to me. But on a cruise, I have the familiarity of the same ship as my base, and I can still experience so many different destinations. For example, last year my friend and I did a Mediterranean cruise and this year the Caribbean and now we’re researching a third cruise on the same ship #GirlsOnTour 🙊
Celebrity Ascent is new, modern, impeccably clean and has so much to offer. If you want a more chilled and “less-peopley” vibe like me sometimes then you can have that experience, but on the flip side if you enjoy socialising and want a day full of activities you can do that too.
One question I get asked a lot is about the food, with regard to, the quality and catering to allergies. I have a fish & seafood allergy, and the staff onboard couldn’t be more accommodating. I’ve never struggled to eat on the ship and there’s so much choice. In fact, I’ve eaten some of the best meals of my life on Celebrity Ascent 🙌🏼 and it’s where I’ve been the most adventurous by trying different foods.
You can fully tailor these cruises to suit your budget and your personal preferences with your stateroom choice, various drinks packages, spa treatments, specialty dining experiences and of course shore excursions, it’s not just a one size fits all holiday.

![I prioritise comfort when it comes to my outfits, especially in Summer when things are heating up 🥵 and because I’m reaching that age where #perimenopause is starting to kick in.
These trousers are 30% Linen and 70% Viscose with an elasticated waist (my fave 😜). There’s a whole variety of styles in this fabric, including shorts, and I have tried them all. The viscose element in the fabric reduces creasing and softens the fabric in comparison to 100% linen which creases very easily and can feel quite scratchy plus they have a more fluid movement to them. They’re lightweight & breathable, perfect for Summer.
