![Yesterday I was invited to speak as a panelist for one of the largest magazine companies marieclairemag
I haven’t done an interview in over a year, and yall know my speech isn’t my strongest suit, it would’ve easier to say no & go to work but I’ll never waste an opportunity to showcase who am I and be the representation that we all need!
The focus of this particular panel was about “Pivoting” & make changes… MOST OF YOU WATCHED ME BUILD THIS BRAND & PIVOT & CHANGE, AGAIN AND AGAIN, however I never changed who I am and what I believe in. Stayed true to myself and God’s alignment is always on time, being true to myself and most importantly believing in myself and my “purpose” has gotten this far!
Like I said my speech isn’t my strongest attribute but IT HAS NEVER HINDERED ME. I AM EXACTLY WHERE I’M SUPPOSED TO BE! My story, my talent, my perseverance is WORTH SHARING, ITS WORTH BEING INSIDE OF THEM ROOMS. I’ll never take away from my struggles, I’m just a girl from North Philly that’s navigating through this thing called life & sharing my experiences along the way 🙏🏾

Every year it feels different. Every year I get to watch you grow and learn more and more. & Every year you exceeds my expectations! Really such a special kid I know God selected you just for me 🥲
Every year I feel like I master another part of motherhood for you & I and this year for I feel like I mastered building up your confidence to use your voice and make decisions on your own (while I back your play 100%) & letting others see you shine bright! You are a leader, you are courageous, and you are beyond intelligent!
And as for myself this year I feel like I mastered single motherhood. Last school year I struggled, I needed help and I didnt know if I could give you all that you needed. But this school I did it without a worry, got it done without a hitch and I’m so proud!
