![The past few weeks have been a struggle.
An infection left me exhausted, drained, and without energy for almost three weeks.
Finally, Iโm starting to feel better but it also means my season comes to an early end.
Stopping is never easy. Especially when your heart wants to fight, but your body tells you otherwise. Yet sometimes, the bravest decision is to pause, rebuild, and prepare for whatโs ahead.
The truth isโฆ the past two years havenโt been kind to me.
Professionally. Personally. And in sport.
It felt like setback after setback, like every part of life was testing me at once.
But Iโve learned something important through it all: I refuse to give up.
Because this journey isnโt about perfection. Itโs about resilience. About showing up again and again, even when it hurts. About finding strength in the middle of struggle.
So yes, my season ends here.
But my story doesnโt.
Iโm choosing patience. Iโm choosing the long game. Iโm choosing to come back stronger than ever.
Hereโs to growth. To resilience. To the comeback.

![Another year of racing around Salzburg โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
Thursdayโs crit was a blast with the crowds and sunshine โ๏ธ Unfortunately, some bike issues in the final laps kept me from finishing as strong as I wanted.
Friday was supposed to be XCE day, but after a full day of pouring rain ๐ง๏ธ and a rough night getting sick ๐ค, we decided to play it safe and skip the race. The goal was to recover and be ready for the cityhillclimb_ on Saturday.
Saturday came, I lined up, gave it my allโฆ but my body just wasnโt 100% and I just wasnโt good enough. ๐
Still, happy I showed up and tried, sometimes racing teaches you more when things donโt go as planned.
Now itโs time to reset, recharge, and get ready for the next one: belgianardennesmarathonseries Bouillon ๐ฆโ๐ฅ

Finally some progress in training! Iโve done 8.5 hours so far this week. I wish it was more, but for now itโs okay.
Getting back into a routine is always hard for meโฆ when things around me arenโt in order, I just donโt function very well. And right now my house still isnโt fully set up, which really drains my energy.
Trying to balance training, work, daily life, and all the paperwork that comes with moving has been a lot.
But the worst part? My WiFi still doesnโt work after more than a week ๐ญ Everything takes 10x longer because Iโm constantly waiting for files to download or upload.
