I’ve progressed my career quickly to Director level, multiplying my income within a few years. At JP Morgan I even got a fast track promotion and have contracted for big names like Google. I do all this while creating content online.

Not all decisions are created equal. These principles help me cut through the noise and move forward with clarity and effectiveness.

If decision-making feels heavy or overwhelming, I’d encourage you to read more on psychology, strategy, and thinking.

It might sound like things just happened but I did a lot of work to heal and make myself ready for the life I wanted. It was actively taking action and rewiring my brain. The core of it was rebuilding my relationship with myself, learning to trust my judgement and doing good for myself at all times.

I will share about my healing journey in detail! Follow for more!

The more you put in, the more you get out 😌

Our marriage has been the greatest accelerator of our lives: in health, in career, in satisfaction and fulfilment.

Over the last 6 years together both of us have grown massively in every way. Almost all of my professional achievements have happened in our marriage. It has provided us with security, safety, comfort and a solid foundation to keep moving forward and achieving our goals!

This year as we get older in our 30s, health has become a big focus and it’s the best investment we’ve made!

I’m very grateful!

What they don’t see are the years of visa stress, rejection emails, late nights building from scratch, and the weight of not knowing if it would all work out.

Life at times felt very dark and uncertain for me. I remember wondering if I would ever feel happy and light, if I was even capable of a healthy relationship after all the traumas and severe anxious attachment style. I walked and walked through a dark tunnel, in a completely different world, no parents around, no community, no financial cushion. But I saw the light eventually and everything changed.

The hardest part was from 0 to 1. To heal from childhood traumas and emotional wounds. To reclaim my power and find the strength to keep going despite all the reasons not to. To be my own parent and lay the foundation once again while living my day to day in a foreign country.

Success is never just luck or overnight - it’s resilience, sacrifice, and refusing to give up when the odds are stacked against you.

So if you’re in the middle of your own struggle right now, know this: one day people will look at you and only see the glow-up. But you’ll know the story behind it, and that’s your real power.

❤️❤️❤️

It’s been almost 6 years together and I still felt so giddy when I saw my husband waiting for me after work holding flowers in his hand ❤️ Being with him is being wrapped in love and care 24/7. It’s crazy to think just one tap on an app and here’s the abundant life I’ve been living!

Though saying one tap is an understatement as I definitely had to go on a serious healing journey and then changed my dating approach completely!

Your 20s don’t have to be perfect. I think I did the best I could given what I knew.

Looking back here are the foundations that give me peace, freedom, and alignment - they have “ever green” benefits.

Most of the items are from Alo and I only buy leggings from Lululemon as they have the length for petite women and I like how they hug. I love the jacket from Bo+Tee and also got it in 2 colours.

What’s your favourite activewear brand??

I’ve been to the gym 4,5 times a week for the last 5 months and so I’m definitely in my gym outfits a lot 😂

Thinking back to our first few months of dating made me emotional. Back then I was still in therapy and I told my therapist that “every person I met, I wanted them to be him, and then I met him.” He met all my expectations and then more.

And it might sound like luck. But it wasn’t. Not entirely.

When I met my husband I had gone on an intense healing journey to rebuild myself and felt ready for marriage. If I hadn’t been emotionally available and intentional, it wouldn’t have worked.

First, the foundation:

Self-esteem: I didn’t need someone to complete or validate me.

Self-respect: I wouldn’t accept disrespect, inconsistency, or breadcrumbing.

A life I loved: I wasn’t dating from scarcity. I believed everything good in life was already mine.

Then, the approach I lived by:

Set high standards: be clear on the partner and relationship you want.

Hold strong boundaries: know what you won’t accept, and always be willing to walk away.

Vet carefully: observe actions over words; consistency over time.

Move on ruthlessly: if it’s not aligned, exit early and fully.

Another important aspect is to make sure you actually get to know him properly and like him as a person, not just how he treats you early on. You should see how he is to the people in his life and observe him in different settings. And if you form any impression of him, ask yourself what makes me think this? Always try to recall a specific example. It will help keep you grounded.

It’s been such a journey! The biggest change and most miraculous one for me is that my neck and shoulder pain is gone 🥹 I used to suffer from really bad pain there, lots of tension, swollen trap muscles. I went to physio and they told me it was because my neck and shoulder were too weak. After months of training, not only does the pain go away but my posture is a lot better! I feel a lot more energised and stronger!

Needless to say clothes fit better and I feel more confident.

I still have goals to reach but I’m happy with how far I’ve come!

Lessons from this journey of moving to the UK and building a 6figure corporate career:
1. See skills as tools.
A degree, writing, video creation, they’re not boxes to trap you, they’re tools you can use in different contexts.

2. Transferable skills are gold. Psychology gave me research and critical thinking, journalism sharpened my communication, video taught me storytelling. They all stack. Learn how to communicate and package them.

3. Work the system, but on your terms.
I didn’t always take the “safe” route, but I learned how to turn each choice into leverage for the next step.

4. Options matter.
Every skill and job gave me more self knowledge and opened more doors. That’s how you carve out a path that is for you!

I came to the UK on a visa, with no guarantees. Today I’ve built a life and career I’m proud of. I’ve come a long way since I arrived. It’s all because of these life changing mindsets. My life transformed completely throughout my 20s: career, marriage, home, healing, dual citizenship. I got one chance in the UK and I ran with it! It all paid off!

It’s why today I can thrive in my career and be pampered in my marriage to a loving husband who prioritises my happiness and fully supports me. And for that, I’ll always be grateful to her.

In corporate jobs, career growth is not just about doing your tasks well. You need to make sure the work you are doing is tied to the company’s priorities, and that people actually know about it. When you work on what matters and your contributions are visible, opportunities come much faster and easier.

This is especially important if you are an international professional or working on a visa, where opportunities do not just fall on your lap. Visibility is not about being loud. It is about being intentional, collaborative, and consistent. If I could learn it as an introvert, so can you.

Why I tried so hard in the UK:

I’ve been in the UK for more than a decade. I’ve achieved many things and have continued to push myself further. And honestly at times I feel like I didn’t have a choice and I’m glad I never gave up. I understand the sacrifices my mum made, and for me to be in the UK it wasn’t just a trip - it was a trajectory-altering opportunity. A one-in-a-lifetime chance to live a different life. I didn’t just survive, I thrived. Thanks to the life I’ve built, I’m able to help take care of my mum and family. I’ve also broken generational trauma to have a healthy, loving marriage.

Anything can change! Keep going!

Part 3 of our holiday in Lake District! This time we were in the boat house suite at Langdale Chase.

We were blessed with the weather. There was some rain but the blue sky quickly appeared every time. We even enjoyed a couple of sunsets in front of our window.

Overall we stayed for 6 days in 2 5-star hotels: Gilpin Lake House and Langdale Chase. At Langdale we experienced two different suites, one in the main house and the boat house where we had our own dock and a bath tub on the roof.

Gilpin had amazing food and Langdale had a superior view and location.

We had a great time! (Though struggling a bit with the food in Lake District because of the lack of healthy options)

I’ve been to Lake District 3 times including this one and it’s a completely different experience. First because of the Porsche 911 and second the sunny weather.

It’s so relaxing and picturesque here.

The only thing that could be better is the food. We find it surprising how unhealthy food generally is here. It’s been a bit struggling for me.

Overall I enjoy it! It’s good for a few days of stay!

Great weekend at gilpinhotel - beautiful lake house in Lake District!

We did a hike from the hotel up the hill to see the view of Lake Windermere. We are quite beginners at this so it took us longer than expected. It was a big achievement when we completed it… after 5hours and 22k steps! (Though including a lunch break in town)

We were blessed with gorgeous weather. We are enjoying ourselves!

P.s. trying a new way of editing after being inspired by other creators!
