![I never thought I would be writing this so soon.
For 12 beautiful years, Aria - better known as yeyita - has been a constant source of love and light in my life. She’s watched me grow, fall apart, and grow again. Through every moment, she was there. I never imagined she would leave me on my 36th birthday. A piece of my heart, shaped like her paw, broke the moment I realized her tiny steps would no longer echo on the floor, that her snores that woke us in the night, and the way she always curled up near us would become memories. I had mentally walked through what this day would look like. I imagined one last chance to hold her close and hug her tightly enough to keep her forever. But life chose differently, and I’m not going to lie and say I’m not devastated that I didn’t get that opportunity. And perhaps in this, she left me with her final lesson: to embrace the small moments, to stop planning around pain in order to avoid being hurt, and to love - my doggies, my family, my friends and the people in my life - a little more, because we never know when a moment will be our last. What hurts most is the guilt of not being there with her, to tell her I love her so much and I’m thankful for the 12 years of her life she gave me. Coming home to the silence of her absence and knowing I will never see her again is a weight I cannot yet describe or handle. I find some peace knowing she was showered with love by so many. I don’t know where dogs go when they leave us, but I hope Aria is by a window, soaking in the sunshine, eating all the treats she wants, knowing that here on Earth, she is loved and missed beyond measure by her mommy, daddy, Bentley and Baxter. You loved us for 12 years, and I will love and miss you for the rest of my life.

One of our favorite features is the use of Dominican Coral Stone on the exterior, a tribute to rayjimenez_ Dominican heritage.
This timeless material is meant to patina beautifully over time, bringing depth and character to the space. We’ve woven it into various elements, including a custom fountain that doubles as a planter, effortlessly blending nature with architecture.
