finally paid a visit to grasso_soho for some early dinner.
grasso in SoHo is all about indulgence—rich, rustic Italian food that doesn’t hold back on flavour or comfort.
we tried the ‘chicken parm’- a huge piece of fried chicken cutlet topped with house-made pomodoro sauce and melted mozzarella. the portion size is very generous and made to share. we had this with a side of spaghetti and fries. the fries were 10/10 - the spaghetti was okay in my opinion.
we also tried the mozzarella sticks with ‘nduja and wild honey. the cheese pull on these bad boys is insane. these sticks are the perfect mixture of sweet and savoury but again, given how big they are they can definitely be shared between 2!
we were going to order a pizza also but thankfully didn’t as we couldn’t even finish what we had!!
the funky disco toilets were a plus, and the service was very friendly and fast.
definitely recommend booking ahead if you can as it can get super busy at peak times.
overall, a very pleasant experience and would go back to try some other menu items!

tried berenjak for the first time today. almost impossible to get a booking here and i can see why. we had the set lunch menu which was £35 per person. a bit pricey for the portion sizes given, however, you can tell good quality ingredients have been used to make their dishes. admittedly not the best iranian food i have tried, however, the food was tasty, staff were friendly and i loved the interior 👌🏽

- pucker up guava and passion fruit mocktail
- mango magic mocktail
- pistachio velvet milkshake
everything was delicious but the pistachio stack was the winner for me 😍 the pancakes were so soft and the sauce was perfectly creamy
the service was incredibly friendly and the prices are more than reasonable. this would be the perfect spot for a catch up, date or celebration treat! 💕

1 of the bigmamma.uk restaurants that i visited a little while back. the interior is absolutely stunning 😍
i would recommend going during the day so you can really take it in as the lighting in this place is quite dim during the evenings. the menu is pretty similar to the other big mamma group restaurants - the truffle pasta is always a winner for me. pretty expensive menu, but definitely worth it for a treat/date night 🍝❤️

if you are looking to satisfy your sweet cravings, then theurbanchocolatier is the place to be! 🤤
we were kindly invited down to sample their desserts and drinks menu and boy oh boy did we leave stuffed to the max 😍
for dessert we tried:
- pistachio french toast (sensational)
- white chocolate cro’ (flaky croissant with a white chocolate sauce and strawberries)
- strawberries and nutella waffle with ice cream (classic)
for drinks we tried:
- blue laguna mocktail (very refreshing)
- ‘piece of cake’ chocolate freak shake (wow is all i can say)
- ‘red alert’ red velvet freak shake (a dream for red velvet and white chocolate lovers)
there were so many options to choose from! the prices are super affordable and service is fast and friendly. what more could you want! i will most definitely be returning to try more items on the menu 🤩

paid a visit to chets_ldn after seeing it all over my instagram!
we tried the NY style bodega sandwich (fluffy egg, cheese sai uah sausage and unami ketchup); banana french toast (caramel battered milk bread, pecan, pandan cream, condensed milk and maple syrup) and the fried chicken khao soi (katsu style fried chicken and curried noodles). thoroughly enjoyed each dish - fresh, flavourful and unique. i loved the fusion of thai and american comfort food - haven’t tried anything like this before.
the service was very fast and friendly. stunning interior and outdoor seating area. would 100% recommend and will be returning to try out the sticky wings!

after seeing this place all over my feed, i had to pay it a visit! the menu (which comes with photos of all the dishes and drinks) is just incredible - it was so difficult not to order everything 😩
in the end, we went for the mr cheesy burger (which they actually INJECT💉with the most incredible cheese sauce), philly steak (the combination of steak, gravy sauce, mayo, on top of fries roasted with gouda and cheddar cheese topped with crispy onion rings and parsley was insanely good), mac and cheese chicken strips, the beef tagliatelle (my absolute fave - the beef was melt in your mouth delicious) and the crispy greek style calamari (can’t go wrong!). we ordered the raspberry kiss and pina colada cocktails also - both delicious and stunningly presented!
service was quick and super friendly. there’s a button on your table you can press to call your waiter over which was also pretty cool!
overall, highly recommend. the prices can add up quick if you start ordering a lot like we did but it’s definitely worth it!! will be going back for sure 😍

i was kindly invited down by lohjapandikitchen to try their food and honestly, this was some of the nicest food i’ve tasted in a while! japanese and scandinavian fusion - fresh, healthy food with so much variety. there were hot dishes, cold dishes, snacks, drinks … you name it!
we had the rock and roll maki, which was incredible - tempura prawn sushi is my absolute favourite. the combination of flavours was just perfect! we also had hot prawn gyozas which are another one of my absolute favourites 😍 i demolished these within minutes. still craving them now actually … we also had the chicken katsu curry which was served hot on a bed of rice with a side of salad. 10/10 chef’s kiss! the chicken was so crispy and the salad tasted super fresh. to finish, we tried the mixed fruits drink with peach. again, absolutely amazing. very unique but refreshing taste - pretty much like a fruity, lightly sparkling boba tea! 👌🏽
overall, i highly recommend and would 100 percent go back here. lohjapandikitchen is perfect for a quick bite or a small meal on the go. it is also located only a minute or two walk from liverpool street station!

after seeing loads of scrumptious videos of this place on insta, i just had to visit 😍 ogosht is a stunning place in acton which serves american/middle eastern comfort food at very reasonable prices 👌🏽
we went for the ‘build your o’ x 2 - you basically choose what base you want (we went for mac n cheese and potato fries), a topping (we went for the burger patty and lamb) and a choice of sauce (we went for cheese and harissa). both trays were equally exquisite 🤩 we also had the loaded hummus which had succulent pieces of lamb on top, served with pitta bread.
highly recommend overall - fast, friendly service, nice interior and good quality comfort food 👍🏽

i was kindly invited to the west drayton branch and had an amazing experience!
the food is top-notch and full of flavour! although widely known for their burgers, the sirloin steak here was just as incredible - juicy, tender and cooked to perfection. highly recommend the ‘smoky bad boy’ burger also, if you’re a lover of spice 🌶
they offer a wide range of drinks (including cocktails and mocktails), tasty sides, and top quality shisha to enjoy after your meal 👌🏽
overall, would highly recommend visiting one of their branches in the UK - fast, friendly service; top quality food, stunning interior, and the best vibes 🎶

their food really is out of this world 😍
finally got myself down to fattpundit after hearing so many good things about this place - it truly did not disappoint!! simply stunning indo-chinese cuisine 🤩
we ordered the chicken momos, stir fry schezuan noodles with chicken, crackling spinach, manchurian chicken and stir fry broccoli
the chicken momos were so so good - 3 just wasn’t enough. i practically inhaled them 😂 the red sauce that came with them was just divine - we ended up asking for more
the noodles were another fave of mine, as was the cracking spinach which was unlike anything i had tasted before. the manchurian chicken was lovely and tender, but a tad spicy for me. the lovely staff did however ask if i wanted the dish mild or more spicy, which i loved.
overall, i’d definitely re-visit. i’d love to try the different momos, as well as the brownie dessert which i’ve heard nothing but good things about!
the service was also fantastic - very friendly, accommodating and attentive 👌🏽
this came to around £60, including 2 soft drinks.

we went for the double ‘sunday pancakes’ with hazelnut maple praline and brown butter, the ‘cheddar scramble’ x 2 and the ‘honeybear on holiday’ cocktail. throughly enjoyed everything - the pancakes are super filling so definitely made to share 😋 you can add extras to your dish (bacon, sausage, avocado etc) for an additional charge, which is also pretty good 🥑
this place is definitely worth a visit - great for a brunch date or a catch up with friends. it was super busy when we went so i’d recommend making a reservation! our total came to around £79 for 2, including 2 drinks and service charge 💷
