Panko Crusted Salmon with Miznon Green Beans and Rice 

Ingredients:
1 lb. Salmon fillet 
1 tbs. Honey 
1/2 tbs. Dijon mustard 
2 cloves garlic, crushed 
Juice of half a lemon
Salt 
1/4 c. Panko breadcrumbs 
1 tbs. Lemon zest 
2 tbs. Chopped parsley 
1 tbs. Oil or melted butter 

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400. 
Season fish with salt. Mix together honey, Dijon, lemon juice and garlic. Pour on top of fish. Combine panko, oil, parsley, lemon zest and some more salt. Press on top of the fish. Bake for 20-25 mins.

Spatchcock Chicken with Potatoes and Squash

Ingredients:
1 whole chicken 
1 lb. Small potatoes, sliced in half 
2 cups of cubed butternut squash 
2 tsp. Salt 
1 tsp. Paprika 
1 tsp. maisongabriellefrance Coriander 
1 tsp. maisongabriellefrance Tarragon 
1 tsp. Turmeric 
1 tsp. maisongabriellefrance Dried Garlic slivers 
1 tbs. Oil 
2 cups of chicken stock 

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375. 
In an oven safe baking dish, add the potatoes and butternut squash. Mix together the spice rub. Pour 1 tbs of the spice rub on top of the potatoes and butternut squash and mix. 
Meanwhile, spatchcock your chicken. Using kitchen shears, cut out the backbone. Then turn it around, and press hard down on top of the breast bone to crack it. 
Place the chicken on top of the potatoes and squash. Season the chicken with a tablespoon of the spice rub. Drizzle the chicken and vegetables with oil. Add two cups of chicken stock to the bottom of the baking dish. 
Cover with parchment paper and foil.

Thai Inspired Steak Salad

Ingredients:
Hangar steak
Salt 
Oil

Salad ingredients:
Cucumber, peeled into strips
Cherry tomatoes
Red bell pepper, sliced into strips
Garlic, pressed Mint, chopped Cilantro, chopped Scallion, chopped
Sesame seeds
1/2 tbs. Sesame oil
1 tsp. Fish sauce (optional)
1 tbs. Rice vinegar
1 tbs. Soy sauce
1/2 tbs. Maple syrup (or sugar)
Juice of 1 lime

Butternut Squash Kugel

1 Butternut squash 
1 sweet potato 
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs
Maple syrup or honey 
Cinnamon 

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400. 
Cut the butternut squash in half. Place flesh side down on a parchment lined baking sheet. Place the sweet potato on the baking sheet as well. Bake for about an hour or until super soft when pierced. Scoop out the inside and place it in a large bowl. Add sugar, flour and eggs. Using an immersion blender, mix it all together until smooth. Pour into a baking dish. Drizzle the top with honey or maple syrup and top with cinnamon. Make a design as shown in the video (optional). Bake at 350 for 30-40 mins. 

NOTES: this recipe is SUPER customize-able! You can make it only using only butternut squash (use one) or only sweet potatoes (use 2-3 large ones). The more squash/sweet potato you use, the more soufflé-like the texture. Since all butternut squashes and sweet potatoes are different sizes, it’s hard to measure the quantity but no matter what it always comes it delicious! If I’m making this recipe only using squash I’ll use a larger one, but if I’m using sweet potato as well, I’ll use a smaller one. The easiest Rosh Hashanah dessert 🍏

APPLE TURNOVERS

Ingredients:
3 Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced 
1.5 tbs. Corn starch 
2 tbs. Sugar 
1 tsp. Cinnamon 
1 pkg. puff pastry squares 
1 egg, beaten 
Powdered sugar, for dusting 

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375. 
In a bowl, combine the apples, cinnamon, sugar and corn starch. Cover with parchment and place in the microwave for 3 minutes. 
On a parchment lined baking sheet, arrange puff pastry squares a few inches apart. Add a tablespoon of the apple filling to the center and fold over one of the corners to form a triangle. Using a fork, press the edges together to seal. Brush with egg wash and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

CHOCOLATE/DATE ROLL COOKIES 

Dough Ingredients:
3 1/2 c. (500g) Flour
1 tbs. (10g) Baking powder 
18 tbs. (250g) Butter or Earths Balance Vegan Butter Sticks 
1/3 c. Milk or Nondairy Milk 
1/3 c. Cream or Nondairy Rich Whip
Date spread or chocolate spread 

Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until a dough forms. Shape the dough into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes. Remove and divide into four equal portions. Roll out each portion into a rectangle. If the dough breaks a little pop it back in the fridge or just keep rolling it out until it’s smooth. Fill with date spread of your choice (Nutella, date spread, chocolate, lotus, etc.) and roll it up into a log. Place on a baking sheet and cut into slices. 

Bake on 350 for 20-30 minutes. Let cool, re-cut the cookies and dust with powdered sugar. 

NOTE: the dough tends to crack when you roll it out but don’t worry! The beauty of this dessert is that it ends up being smothered in powdered sugar so you can’t see the imperfections at the end.

GARLIC STUFFED LAMB ROAST

Ingredients:
Lamb Shoulder Roast 
10 cloves garlic 
3 tsp. Salt 
1 1/2 tsp. maisongabriellefrance Coriander, crushed
1 tsp. maisongabriellefrance cloves, crushed 
1 tsp. maisongabriellefrance cinnamon 
1 1/2 tsp. Paprika 
1 tsp. Turmeric 
1 tsp. Cumin 
1 tbs. Honey 
3 cups chicken stock or water 
Baby carrots, peeled 
Shallots, quartered 
1 tbs. Oil 
—> if you do not have all these spices separately, you can use 1 tbs. Of Yemenite Hawaij spice! 

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375. 
Place the lamb roast in a large roasting pan. Using a sharp knife, pierce the roast about 10 times and fill each piercing with a clove of garlic. Mix together 2 tsp. salt, cumin, coriander, cloves, turmeric, and paprika together and spread all over the lamb (including the back!) Drizzle with honey and massage everything into the roast, getting into all the crevices. 
Pour chicken stock into the bottom of the dish. Cover with parchment and foil and bake for about 3 hours. 
Mix baby carrots and shallots with the remaining 1 tsp. salt and cinnamon. Drizzle with oil and place on the bottom around the lamb roast. These miso-garlic mushrooms are just as versatile as marukomeus miso paste! I’ve been using marukomeus for years and it’s my favorite miso paste due its taste, texture and depth of flavor it brings to any dish! #marukomemiso 

MISO GARLIC MUSHROOMS

1 lb. Of mixed variety of mushrooms (shiitake, cremini, beech etc.) 
5 cloves garlic, crushed 
1 tbs. marukomeus Miso Paste 
1 tbs. Soy sauce 
1/2 tbs. Rice vinegar 
1/2 tbs. Sesame oil 
1 tbs. Neutral oil 
Sesame seeds, for garnish 

Directions:
Heat up a skillet over a high flame. Add the mushrooms to the dry pan and allow them to sweat so that all the moisture evaporates. Meanwhile, mix together the miso, soy sauce, rice vinegar and sesame oil. Once there is no longer any liquid in the pan, add the oil and allow the mushrooms to crisp up. Then add the miso mixture and mix together combine. Cook an additional five minutes until the miso mixture coats the mushrooms and everything is combined! 
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve on top of spinach or arugula as a warm salad, mix it with noodles, serve over steamed rice or add to a burger as a delicious topping. 2025-09-05 04:51:16 These miso-garlic mus.. 118 -78% 5 -84%
BBQ French Roast 

Ingredients:
3lb. French Roast 
2 onions, sliced 
Half a jar of Barbecue sauce 
2 cups chicken stock 
Salt 

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375. 
Season your roast generously with salt. In a large Dutch oven, sear the the roast on both sides until browned. Add onions around it and some barbecue sauce on top. Pour in chicken stock, cover and bake for about 4 hours until the roast is soft when pierced with a fork.

Pasta Puttanesca
Ingredients:
6 cloves Garlic, sliced or crushed 
1/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil 
1/4 c. Olives 
2 tbs. Capers 
15 oz. Can of tomato sauce 
16 oz. Spaghetti (I like thin spaghetti - dif than capellini!) 
Salt 

Bronzini 
6 bronzini fillets 
2 tbs. Extra virgin olive oil 
Juice of two lemons 
1 tbs. Capers 
Cherry tomatoes 
Salt 

Directions:
For the pasta, bring a pot of water to a boil and salt it heavily. Add the pasta. 
Meanwhile, make the sauce. In a cold pan add olive oil and garlic. Raise the heat to medium and allow the garlic to infuse into the olive oil, be careful that it does not burn. Roughly chop the capers and olives and add to the oil. Then pour in tomato sauce. When the pasta is ready, add it directly to the sauce (do not drain - the starch on the pasta will help it stick to the sauce!). Finish it off with some freshly chopped parsley. 

For the bronzini;
Preheat the oven to 400. 
Place fillets on parchment lined baking sheet. Season fillets with salt, lemon juice and olive oil. Add tomatoes to the baking sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes until flaky and opaque. Optionally, broil an additional 5 minutes.

ROAST CAULIFLOWER 

Ingredients:
Cauliflower florets 
1 tbs. Oil 
1 tsp. Salt 
1/2 tsp. Paprika 
1/2 tsp. Turmeric 

Garnishes:
Tahini 
Chopped dates 
Pomegranate seeds
Mint, cilantro and/or parsley 

Directions: 
Preheat the oven to 425. 
Place the cauliflower on a parchment lined baking sheet and season with salt and spices. Drizzle oil on top and massage to fully coat each piece. Bake for about 45 minutes until the cauliflower is soft and slightly charred. 
Serve over a layer of tahini and top with chopped dates, pomegranate seeds and herbs. 

TIPS: I like to rinse and drain the cauliflower before adding it to the baking sheet. I find that the little bit of moisture allows it to steam in the oven and get soft without burning too quickly! I also cut the florets in half so that there is a flat side and place the flat side down on the parchment paper. This side will get a really nice char and is the best part imo! If serving the next day, I like to warm up the cauliflower along with the chopped dates. The dates soften a bit and become sweeter and it’s so good.

BEAN SALAD 

Ingredients:
1 can chickpeas, washed and drained 
1 can red kidney beans, washed and drained 
Half a jar of roasted red peppers, diced 
1 red bell pepper, diced 
1/2 c. Parsley, chopped 
3 cloves garlic, crushed 
1/4 c. Red wine vinegar 
3 tbs. Olive oil 
1 tsp. Salt 
Optional: diced pepperoncini 

Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients.

Greenwich, Connecticut Itinerary: 

Put “Greenwich Avenue Center Shopping Center” into your navigation and park anywhere on Greenwich Avenue. There is street parking and public lots are available.
Walk up and down the block and explore the upscale boutiques, cafes and department stores. There are THREE Saks Fifth Avenue stores, Aritzia, Hermes, Sephora and so much more! Pop into Maman for a coffee, tea or light pastry. It’s a perfect spot for a mid-morning pick me up. 

Walk over to Greenwich Commons, a small park with a little playground along Greenwich Avenue for a bit of greenery and relaxation. Enjoy the atmosphere, people-watch, or take a short stroll on the walking paths. 
Alternatively, especially if you are with a few kids, head to Bruce Park Playground for a much larger playground with swings, four different play areas, and a nearby duck pond. 

If you’re feeling hungry, just a short drive away is an amazing Glatt Kosher restaurant, Greenwich and Delancey (greenwichanddelancey owned by the same Chef as Lox Cafe). They serve delicious pastrami sandwiches and other classic Jewish comfort foods.
