- Gricia con i carciofi (with artichokes) The perfect recipe for your Sunday lunch 😍 This traditional Italian dish is a pasta with guanciale, pecorino, black pepper and artichokes. Just delicious! 🤤 Difficulty: medium Time to prepare: 30 min Ingredients for 4 people: -150g Guanciale -400g pasta (I like rigatoni but you can also choose a long type of pasta) -3/4 artichokes -a nice piece of pecorino -olive oil -black pepper -salt -a clove of garlic -one glass of white wine Recipe: Start by putting a casserole with water for your pasta on the stove then start cutting the guanciale into pieces that should not be too small and put it into a pan with medium heat until golden and crispy. Once it is done, set it aside in a bowl and keep the grease in the pan. While the guanciale is cooking start preparing the artichokes by cleaning them outside and inside and cutting them into thin slices, to prevent them from oxidation put the cut artichokes into water with some lemon. Once the guanciale is in the bowl, put the clove of garlic into the grease of the guanciale and then add the cut artichokes. After a few minutes, deglaze with a glass of white wine and leave it cook. When the water is boiling add some salt to it and the pasta, that you will leave for half its cooking time. You will finish cooking it in the same pan with the artichokes, adding some cooking water when needed to create a creamy texture. When the pasta is “Al dente” add the guanciale and stir well. Turn off the heat and add the pecorino cheese and some black pepper. - Felt like some asian food so I decided to go try maodumplingbar The menu proposes 5 types of dumplings, 1 dumpling of the day and a mix of 4 types of dumplings (that sadly you can’t compose yourself with the ones you like). Moreover there are some tapas to share, we got the aubergines, the mapo tofu and the popcorn fried chicken. I can say that the thing that I liked the most was the fried chicken, super juicy and delicious. The ravioli were good but not incredible, the best for me were the Sichuan ones. If I had to vote this restaurant it would be a 6.5/10 overall also because of the long waiting line to get a table.
