Bookish knowledge can often be misleading and even harmful. Let’s talk today about the Vishuddhi Chakra. Traditionally, it is said to be located in the throat and is associated with communication. You may have heard that if this chakra is “blocked,” you won’t be able to express yourself properly, you’ll face problems in relationships, and that by “unblocking” it, suddenly you’ll become a great speaker, writer, or poet.
But that’s not how it really works. These are just fancy claims that clever people make to attract followers. The truth of what happens when energy actually reaches the Vishuddhi Chakra is very different—much deeper and far beyond what is commonly advertised.
Yes, this chakra is related to communication, but not outward communication. It’s about inner communication—our connection to our inner voice, what we call intuition. This voice is always trying to speak to us, guiding us, even revealing secrets that could completely transform our lives. But our attention is so focused outward that we fail to listen.
When energy rises to the Vishuddhi Chakra, communication aligns with this intuition. You can call this inner guidance God, Guru, the unconscious mind, higher self, or simply the inner voice. Whatever the name, it becomes your true compass, leading you to real knowledge—knowledge you don’t need to borrow from books anymore.
